You're saying the same thing the OP is saying. There's no reason to schedule anything but cupcakes OOC and being in a competitive conference is also meaningless.

I agree I think the SEC needs to say frick you to the rest of college football and form their own playoff

They would’ve all been undefeated in the ACC and Big 12

Next time it will be LSU being replaced by Indiana
What's more likely... Indiana having another all world season OR bama losing to both vandy and OU??

So it should be easy for one of the three SEC teams who are in to win it all. We don't need a second SEC season and we don't need more mulligans for 3 loss teams who couldn't take care of business vs teams who are probably slightly worse than the Indianas, BSUs and ASUs.

So you don’t care if inferior teams from other conferences get in despite playing G5 schedules, got it.

I really don't at this point. We will see if one actually wins it all at some point, but until that happens I couldn't care less about 3 loss teams being left out. They certainly didn't prove they are deserving or capable of winning either.

What did IU and the other zero win CFP teams do to deserve going or do you not care about that either?

No impressive wins, but didn't lose to the mid-teams on their schedule so there is that.

Bama didn’t deserve it. They got stomped by OU for crying out loud.

Are you crazy. We have 7 teams at 9-3 or greater. Top to bottom the SEC is the strongest conference and it’s not close.
Yeah, you’ve got a point there. Weaker at the top, better all around.

OU was FEI 33 and Vandy was 39.
They weren’t mid, they just played in a league that made teams look worse than they were.

Right, and IU would have the same results in SEC. The 3-loss teams lost to teams like them so who cares? Not like a true championship caliber team got left out, that would be a concern worth complaining about.

Read that again: half the CFP would be dogs on a neutral site to SEC teams who are staying home and 75% of the fans on an SEC message board are clapping like seals.
And all you Bama fans would be trolling us if roles were reversed.
Hypocrites.

3 losses? That’s optimistic.
I think they’d lose to every top 15 SEC level team they played on a neutral field and at least 1-2 of the mid tier teams just due to the attrition and depth disparities they’d deal with compared to what they played this year.
They’d end the season 8-4 and limping into the finish line.
Ole Miss on the other hand could beat any team in the playoffs on a given night.
IU would be lucky to beat SMU, Clemson or PSU and could easily lose to Boise or ASU.

if you want a nine-game SEC schedule then CFP expansion allows these games to be played.
If not, the SEC and B1G should split from the mid-level schools and form the 44 School Super League.
SEC adds - Clemson, UNC, Miami, and FSU.
B1G takes Notre Dame, Virginia, Utah, Cal, Standford, and Arizona.

I’m sure some would on this board, I’d much rather actually talk football.
