Again, it is not about Jones arm alone. It is his feet as well. Miami started to put more pressure on him and reduced his opinions. He will see more of that until he shows he has a deep threat. Tua even showed he can throw it deep.

The mark of how good Mack Jones will or won't be lies in how he navigates NFL DCs having lots of tape of him to dissect for their gameplanning. They're going to start throwing a lot of different things at him as more tape becomes available week by week.
It's not how he does in first start, or his second start. It's how he's doing later on this season, and into next season, that will tell the tale of what he's going to be.

Cam doesn't fit his system. Jones does and he wants to prove to the world that NE success was because of his system and not Brady. Not a great start for that goal.

This is true. I watched the game today and he seems to be far ahead of Tua. He appears to have good command of the O and he did show some pocket awareness. He made a couple of NFL type throws but most were checkdowns. We will see how he progresses throughout the year and how how he responds to the defenses adapting. He may be the one that sticks around for a while.
