Mac just developed more as a college QB.

In CFB I would take Mac everyday.

Tua has a higher ceiling, so if we are talking NFL. I think you have to lean Tua and hope he develops.

Mac and it’s not close. He was the first one to pick up Sarks offense and he did more with less. He didn’t have waddle for half the season and no Ruggs or Juedy. Idc if he can run around or not that’s not his job.

Tua - good man, very talented but fragile and not a good game manager. He just likes to sling it.

Mac - completely selfless player, talented in his own right, very durable and a great game manager. He can sling it but is great at taking what you give and beating you.

Mac - he put it his receivers laps all season. Fantastic deep ball. Always knew where to go with the football, makes quick decisions, and has excellent pocket awareness

He’s bigger and more durable, as well

What if Mac came back for one more year? There are rumblings of a return if his NFL grade is not great.

Easy:

Mac. Wire to wire championship, not just a 2nd half of football (which was still nice)

More durable.

Accuracy just as good. Arm strength just as good.

Less mobility, but is better in the pocket.

Sees the field better, reads progressions better, taller.

Better team chemistry

Better durability.

At the end of 2019 I would have said you were crazy for going with Mac but now I think he is the obvious choice.

To me, Young has some Blake Barnett in him.

Mac has proved me totally wrong. Kid is tough and throws a BEAUTIFUL deep ball. Mizzou hit him hard to start the year and he just got better. Very impressive!

I wouldn't be mad if my Dolphins drafted Mac. My #1 issue with Tua is as serious an injury as the hip is ,GOD is the only one that knows if it won't be problematic in the future.

Gimme Mac. Imo he was given a more complex scheme and more responsibility as the decision maker of the offense and absolutely thrived in it. That led to Bama's offense taking a step forward

Thanks for phrasing it this way. Every time these two get mentioned in reverse order, my borderline dyslexic brain pictures this.

#5 overall pick - even after of a gruesome injury
OR
2nd rounder - even after an undefeated “season”

Hmmmm - tough one!

This says it all imho.

A1abana fans want Max to leave

They don’t believe a game manager can get it done in a real season. And I don’t blame them. He can’t!
