Not surprised. This is what happens when all the good QBs turn down the invite.

I have to thank Mac for one thing, I’ve never seen a coaches staff trust their QB so little they threw the ball 3 entire times before.

Don't misconstrue my post. Again, I've done nothing but congratulate Burrow. He's a good player, and I hope he wins the Super Bowl.

It was the game plan due to weather, and you know that. Either that, or you're just retarded.

It's not. Very difficult to make the playoffs and the pro bowl as a Rookie. Hell of a first year.

Some very, very, VERY stupid posters believe the NFL game is played like Madden on XBOX.

Mac is going to be a great QB in the league. I believe we are embarking on another Golden Age of signal callers. So many great young QBs!

Rookie quarterback Mac Jones was named as an alternate on Sunday. Lamar Jackson was named to the original roster, but will not play due to injury. Josh Allen was the first alternate and declined after the Bills' loss last week.

Meh, it's a big accomplishment for Mac jones. He's definitely a solid NFL QB and will only improve with time.

But let's not portray this as if he is even in the conversation with the better young QB's in the league. I like the kid but watch enough football to understand what led to his success in N.E. I won't trash him because he's better than a lot of QB's around the NFL. What he lacks in flashiness, he makes up for in "football IQ".

He was better than every other rookie this season, and he just made the pro bowl. You people just hate to give Alabama players credit. What more can a rookie REALLY do than Mac did in his rookie season? Nothing.

Not that it matters, but it was Lamar, then Allen ,then burrow, and then mac Jones as the next alternate.

Let’s take some time to try and understand how Lamar Jackson made the pro bowl and Allen/burrow we’re left out. Anybody got a reason?
Look at stats if you want, they aren’t close.look at wins, Lamar didn’t win the division.
What could the reason possibly be?

Now answer the question. Why is he going to the pro bowl?

Because the alternate in front of him is going to the Super Bowl against all odds?
