BS. The object is to throw it to someone wearing the same jersey as you no matter what level you are playing. You have to execute.
He could be sitting on the bench watching Cam Newton, but he isn't. There's a reason for it. He beat the man out. He's doing what he's being asked to do at a pretty high level compared to others with his experience level.

Bill wants to prove he is the greatest and thinks Jones can work better in his system than Cam would. Again, NE played two of their easiest opponents this last two weekends. Wait until Tom Brady goes Ape on Bill.

Burrow setting records. Impressive.

NFL Research:

Joe Burrow became the first QB since Ryan Fitzpatrick in Week 3, 2018 versus Pittsburgh to throw three interceptions on three consecutive pass attempts.

I stand corrected due to that impressive breakdown. So you’re saying that the object is to throw to someone wearing the same jersey as you. The calls to hire you as an offensive analyst are sure to come flooding in now.

We can all look forward to next year watching Bo light it up. Kinda like he did against Penn State. Anyone who knows anything about football knows that is the way you play the quarterback position.

Mac will be the steal of the 2020 draft. He has no help at WR. Everyone that complains about how he has to throw short forgets that the NFL isn’t college. It’s up to the GM to give a QB help on offense wherever it’s needed. Mac showed in college that if you give him time with a good o line and a deep threat or 2 at WR then he not only can throw it deep but he is deadly accurate doing so.

The dink and dunk king still has his throne, and he won a super bowl just last season.

Just a guess you didn't watch last years Iron Bowl lol. He takes what the
Defense gives him. And Auburns gave him
Everything lol. He's leagues better
Than Cam ever was at throwing the ball.

Obviously Mac Jones has done a better job of throwing it to the people wearing the same color jersey as him at a much better rate than any of the other QB's drafted ahead of him.

I'm pleased that I was able to dumb the whole thing down enough for you to sort of understand.

So BITTER LOL. I am not looking for Mac Jones to lead the Pats to the Super Bowl in Year One. I do believe he is as good or better than any QB in that draft he was in and he will prove it.

It's early and you can twist things any way you want, but he has better numbers now. Period. End of story.

Mac Jones is a disturbance in the force that wasn't supposed to happen for LSU and Auburn fans. Mac daddy would have to be league MVP for them to give an inkling of credit.

Yes but Brady has a well established as accurate as any deep ball. Though Jones threw nice deep balls at Bama last year, we have yet to see it in New England in a real game. CBB may try and unleash it against Brady's team. The goat returns to his old team's stadium to face off against his old coach and his new rookie qb. I am not expecting a close game, however.

He's the best right now, but in the long run, I'd take the bet if you believe he ends up being the best. Game is changing and everyone of the other guys has more of the kind of stuff that makes Mahomes, Allen and Jackson so hard to deal with.

I do think he has the potential to be a starter in the league for a long time though. I'm happy for him.

That pass he threw to Brown vs. the Cowboys certainly wasn't a dink and dunk. Deep ball with some smoke on it.

He will need a deep ball threat to beat the champs is all I am saying. But I don't expect Jones to beat Brady. Does anybody?

NO. That's the FIRST and MOST IMPORTANT priority though. Without doing that, everything after that is a loser!........think I'll get any calls now?
