Where is the integrity that professional college athletes should display.
Chambliss has again prevented a freshman from having a chance to make the roster.
This unfairness must end

Waiting on the federal lawsuit from Sankey saying OM is preventing the SEC from enforcing their rules.
Expecting the half-year suspension of the coach and the $1,000,000,000,000 fine any day now. /s

Thats going to be LSU’s case against them: the league office has selective outrage. The BR judge flat out said as much—that the league doesn’t want to define its policies so they can be adapted to the whims of whatever Sankey wants to do.

quote:I'm not sure why there is such a disconnect on the two schools. Chambliss was denied a 6th by NCAA. He got a TRO. Ole Miss chooses to play him. What happens once the TRO expires are is settled, who knows. I would think Ole Miss might be risking vacating some games that they win using Chambliss.

The TRO that hits LSU is the issue of pro players returning to college. They did not roster the two but left spots for the future. Doesn't look like they need them. I would imagine at this point LSU is sinless and won't be in any hot water until they decide (and I'm thinking they won't) to roster/play to two players in question.

Chambliss played for and developed by Kiffin. That is the equivalent of NFL minicamp

Here's the fallacy of your position.
NCAA denying a 6th year isn't unique to chambliss, It is a clear rule that is defined and easy to understand.
The application is universal and the exceptions are clearly defined.
Chambliss getting the 6th year is not a gray area where one can argue that NCAA is favoring certain classes or suddenly writing rules a week before the season to exclude specific players while including others in very similar situations.
Imagine the NCAA invented a rule, the week before game one, that gave extra year to players who had tonsils removed by a specialist, but excluded players who had tonsils removed by regular surgeon.
