Yea because playing in the East is pretty much the same as playing the West. Especially if the East team in question doesn't play the West's 3 top 10 teams.

Beneath the gloss and glamour of the Ducks' fancy uniforms and scorching-hot cheerleaders, it's hard to make a convincing case that they're that much stronger an opponent than Boise State.

No it's not. Oregon will win the Pac 12, Boise won't even win the Mountain West. Look, I made a convincing case.

You're going to compare LSU's schedule to UGA's when Georgia lost two games against theirs and LSU lost none??

Ask yourself this: If Georgia had welcomed last year's fourth-place team in the East Division (Tennessee) to Sanford Stadium and only ended up winning a 9-6 slog in overtime, would they get any credit? (Heck, the Bulldogs went to Knoxville in October and handily beat a Tennessee team fielding a healthy Tyler Bray, and they're still not getting any credit for it.)

extraordinarily sound logic here

And why are Alabama and Arkansas being treated like juggernauts anyway? The Razorbacks, for their part, played a ridiculously easy non-conference schedule and got blown off the field by the top two teams they faced.

The Razorbacks also beat the best team in the east fairly handidly-South Carolina.

Mad respect to Georgia for their 7 wins over Florida, Kentucky, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Auburn, Mississippi State, and Ole Miss. None of those teams are currently ranked, by the way.

Their best SEC win was Auburn, who had a train run on them by all of the teams in the conference with a pulse.

I'll say one thing about schedules... Georgia is scheduled for a beat down on Saturday, courtesy of Louisiana State University.
