Does Myles play defense? The problem is Pellini, so you can drool all over yourself that Orgeron made a bad hire. However I have the confidence in him to right the ship just as he did before. This “one year wonder” talk is simply idiotic. Lsu has played for 4 National Championships in the last 20 years and won 3 of them. Lsu has consistently had good seasons and good recruiting classes as well. So again put a bib on to catch your drool because Lsu isn’t going away any time soon.

I think that at this point it seems the loss of coaches was a WAY bigger deal than the loss of players. Myles is a damn good QB but this team is nowhere near its talent level.

I think who Aranda was replaced with was a bigger deal than Aranda leaving.

And the players leaving was a bigger deal. 34 players.

They were the most recent SEC school to have a winning record vs Bama. Been generations since a lot of SEC teams could say that

LSU can get well on the road against Florida. Easy peasy.

Was content to follow this thread as an outsider but can’t sit by and let such an ignorant post go unanswered...I guess Bama fans want to forget their two losses to Clemson, but we’ve been to four CFP NCs in five years...and quite possibly a fifth this year.

spit ballin here but as an LSU fan here is my take...

Losing 19 of your 22 starters on offense and defense in the SEC is a sure to be a coaching challenge..

The loss of Aranda and as a result changing defense schemes in the middle of Pandemics and Stay at home orders has taken a bigger toll on our Defense than I would have imagined..

Redzone and 3rd down play-calling has taken a signficant step backwards... this is where losing Brady is most significant...

Coach O is learning real quick that the honeymoon for winning championships is short lived..

Meh, its less losing Brady and more not being able to control the LOS in my opinion

2007 was lucky af. Last year was better than any of Bama's, you will never go 15-0. Y'all backdoored in every time except 2009 and if McCoy doesn't get hurt you probably lose that title game

Someone's insecure we won five titles alone in 9 years and it took them 120 to win a measly 4.

2011- If Oklahoma State kicks that field goal against Iowa State you don't win
2012- if OSU isn't on probation for bs you don't win
2015- if Ole Miss doesn't give up a 4th and 25 to Arkansas you don't win
2017- if ESPN doesn't campaign for you you don't win

If LLsu wasn't such a shite team led by a retard, you wouldn't be 1-2.

If...

If...

Interesting how Alabama people come into this thread and try to make it about them.

This is non-responsive. How does one team being heads and shoulders above others support 1 year wonder?

You have never had a season like last year in recent history. Hence, it is a one-year wonder. A blip in the statistical trending over the last 20 years or so.

'm thinking coaching, and specifically Aranda.

It sure looks like that to an outsider like myself. I thought losing the OC would be a tough pill to swallow but that side looks solid outside of the 3rd downs. The defense is just a disaster. Never seen anything like that.
