If you want to follow in the footsteps of Auburn and pick and choose which polling system you use at a given time based on who ranks you highest then go right ahead.
Most people will continue to default to the AP poll.
At the end of the day, all preseason polls have a major flaw. They are preseason.

They were preseason ranked which is better than almost all the opponents everyone faced, which was the actual conversation not this new straw man one you created.

You are correct, 26 is not ranked but it puts things in perspective to your dumb comparison to the other matchups especially when they were ranked in a different poll. That’s not shifting, it is clarifying they actual were ranked. Were they not?

Can you identify which team is Clemson?
We all remember LSU fans pounding their chests last season after they beat Clemson. The two teams ended up with the exact same record and bowl results. That should help you identify Clemson.
