I wont be surprised if in a couple of days it comes out he took another job. It's been rumored for awhile now.

I'm going to have to my fellow LSU fans on this one how you come to the conclusion that Craig wasn't fired when it literally says he was relieved of his duties.

Keep being mister nice guy and Mr morals and you will keep being same ole sorry arse MSU. This isn't a business about friends. People trash Saban for being mean but it gets results. To hell with perception do what's best for your team

This. Though, him being "fired" is a bit of a surprise.

Yeah. I wouldn't be very good at that. I need to be able sleep at night based on what I told an 18 year old what would happen to him over the next several years. My integrity is worth more than some, apparently.

The Jabbar Juluke one seems more surprising to me than Craig. What's the story there?

Maybe not...but then why is ESPN saying that LSU announced that he was:
Ed Orgeron got through national signing day before making two changes to his LSU coaching staff. The school announced Thursday that WRs coach Dameyune Craig has been fired and that RBs coach Jabbar Juluke has been reassigned to a position within the athletic department.
Posted on 2/2/17 at 12:26 pm to TheCheshireHog
Juluke getting moved to different staff position (desk job) and rumored Kevin Faulk could take over RBs.
Posted on 2/2/17 at 12:26 pm to TheCheshireHog
Jaluke wasn't ready for that role. He will be s hell of a rb coach and recruiter eventually but he just wasn't ready.

Was he fired because of all the Louisiana kids that signed with Bama?
Posted on 2/2/17 at 12:27 pm to fhsdemonfan3131
Thanks to you both for the quick reply. Good info.

And how do you know lsu didn't make any of those kids aware of that? Kids shouldn't pick a coach anyway there's no guarantee they will be there.

Hey slack-jaw, he wasn't fired.
You know this how? Feldman is one of CfB's most connected and most respected reporters. He wouldn't have used the phrase "let go" if he couldn't double source it - likely from Craig or his agent.

He was told to not show up at the athletic facility. That's all.
Posted on 2/2/17 at 12:34 pm to chattabama
He's probably just going to finally get a shot at OC again with Oregon.
Still an insider on the 24/7 board said it absolutely had to happen, so there's obviously more to this story

I.E. fired.
How else would you take that?
You're at work (if you actually hav e a job) and your boss tells you to not bother coming back tomorrow. Would you go around saying you had been fired or tell people that you quit on your own?
