It's revenue. Every SEC school will be doing it shortly.

I like Wine, but cannot imagine drinking it at a football game.

Avoid these sociopaths at all costs.

Saturday nights are going to be bananas

Edit for clarity: I will drink beer at gameS

Yeah, I honestly don’t think I could drink much sitting in a stadium at 2:30 on a September Saturday when it’s 90 degrees. Drinking while it’s blazing hot, surrounded by thousands of people with no pool or body of water to cool me down? No thanks.

and that's perfectly fine, but it's ridiculous that up til now grown adults weren't even given the option.

To each his own. I love an icy cold beverage in these conditions.

Thatnot going to change a thing at LSU games or any other stadium in the SEC.

All of our fans already get shite faced drunk for night games and sneak in bags of liquor for expensive concessions cokes. What dumbass is going to pay concession prices for beer?

Answer: Not the rowdy kind.

That’s true, but the stomach probably won’t feel so good after a few beers when you heat back up again. I like a cold beer in the heat, but that’s typically when I’m near a body of water/a pool.

I’m certainly not arguing against allowing alcohol sales, it’s probably just not for me.

I am proud to say that I've been to quite a few Arkansas games, football mostly but other sports as well, and booze was smuggled in every time but twice.

Both times because it was so hot out I smuggled in water and sports drinks instead.

I can guzzle ice cold beer in the heat but bourbon...that has to wait until it cools off a bit.

As they should. I'd honestly be more sober at games if they did this. Wouldn't binge drink as much to keep a buzz for 4 quarters, and wouldn't sneak in liquor (far more potent than beer.

School makes money. I'm in.

True. When I lived there I remember seeing a very prominent newspaper reporter having to be helped into the stadium before the game because he was so drunk. That probably would have hurt his reputation anywhere but Louisiana.
