Well thank God UGA runs a traditional offense. We match up well with teams like that, but welter better start roiding up. Hicks may block welter into the stands.
It should be fun...

UGA will not have an answer for LSU. The descent begins in Athens

This SHOULD be the best game of the season.
The teams personnel wise are evenly matched. Dawgs have home field advantage, and it's going to come down to who coaches the best game.
I have said all year that this is our toughest game and the one we lose. The good news is, it's one we can afford to lose. I think we beat bama this year, ole miss will be a nail bitter and possibly Florida.
Georgia wins IMO. The question is by how much. Richt has the the ability to have his team play over their heads, much like the USCe game this year and the Florida game last year. They simply were not going to be beat.
To bad we don't have Kentucky instead. Our schedule will keep us out of the title race this year I'm afraid. We have a BRUTAL 5 game stretch and I see injuries already starting to mount.

Should be a whale of a game. Clem and Scar are non traditional offenses with two good running QBs. UGA will struggle with the Oregons and teams that run this type of offense.
Special teams will affect this game, just not sure how much damage UGA will take.

This LSU team hasn't had to play a full four qtrs yet since our O has created such large leads so fast. If the team that has shown up in the first half of all our games this year, show up for a full game vs GA? Holy crap they won't have a chance in hell, no one one will in the SEC for that matter...if THAT team continues to show up.

This thing is going to be a shootout. Our coaches seem to love our MLB, so I hope gurley just knocks him out of the game early so we can move on.

LSU will unleash a vertical passing attack that will leave the Georgians talking for years.
Q1: LSU 10, UGA 14
Q2: LSU 31, UGA 17
Q3: LSU 41, UGA 24
Q4: LSU 48, UGA 31
FINAL: 48-31, LSU

LSU defense played 85 plays last night. Since it was a night game and 1 travel day the team could have less time to recover. Also could be leg weary going into a hot and humid day game. Same thing happened to Bama last year - LSU ran 85 plays against Bama and the next week TX A&M came in rested and seemingly faster and quicker, and very motivated.

You should see the auburn fans blast their MLB. Get over it, welter is a weakness and uga is going to rock us right up the gut because of it.

Georgia gets in a turnover rut it could very well be that score. I figure the minimium threshold for both teams will be 30. Then I wanna say that after so many games in the past were said before to be shoot outs ended up being more conservative that possibly it'll happen in Athens. Then I remember Georgia's season thus far and I realize there's just no way Georgia's holding anyone to a defensive game.

I can't wait until this weekend. I have had this game circled since last year.
It will be rocking between the hedges!
I hope Aaron brings his A game and the defense will need to step up, especially play better than the Clemson and S Car games,

LSU was able to stalk the box/line against Auburn. As long as UGA's OL can hold up, then that won't be the case against UGA. UGA loves to see one or one on the edges or a LBer against the TE/FB. As long as Murray isn't running for his life and getting good designed roll outs, he has always been able to hit the medium to long range routes with precision. There was a reason that Marshall was a DB at UGA.
As for the D, I have always thought that Grantham does much better against a statuary QB than a running one. However, the secondary better hope that the DL gets good pressure because the youngsters still have a LONG way to go.

People are making too much out of Mitchell's injury.
The other receivers are excellent. I concede that we don't yet have an Odell Beckham, but when Murray throws the ball to them, they catch it, and with track speed they turn first downs into touchdowns. And that's really the whole point.
Gurley is not at 100% right now, he's been playing hurt since the SC game, and if you watched the N Tex game, when he looked the most tired, with his hands on his hip, huffing and puffing before the snap, obviously playing through pain, is when he fumbled. The N Tex game wasn't supposed to have Gurley playing 4 quarters. Now, he doesn't really have any time to rest. That's good news for LSU.
The other good news for LSU is that Marshall still can't run between the tackles, doesn't have whatever 'it" factor it requires to do that.
The bad news for LSU is that Murray actually is a mobile qb, he can roll and make throws across the field, etc, and also run for the 1st down on 3rd and 7.
More bad news is that UGA's defense isn't as bad as they want to believe. The leading sack man is true freshman OLB Leonard Floyd.
Leonard and Mett are going to meet, intimately, at least once in this game. I know La'el won't let him by, but Leonard doesn't line up against La'el, that's Jordan Jenkins.
I have no doubt LSU will have a good day running the ball, and Mett looked really good against Auburn. I'm curious to see how he looks when he is being pressured.
