Good for Vandy. Did they have potential championship teams in the past decade?

sorry, thought we were discussing 2017, did not realize LSU had speciaol dispensation to field players for over a decade.

Brent venables is the Clemson DC. He is really really good.

I have no idea who the OC is, but I think dabo calls the offense.

Dude, youve won one home game against LSU in 18 years, get over yourself, you are no Bama and riding their coat tails make you look like an arse. Mullen has a good team every 4 years, you were ranked 1 once, and now you're world beaters lol. Win one NC one SEC championship because on average MSU has sucked for decades, decades longer than LSU ever has.

While I agree with most of the op, this makes no sense. There is always adversity, what other storms are you weathering?

Please link any comment I have ever made that rode anyone's coat tails.

again link anywhere I disputed this.

You are that special kind of stupid person who creats things out of thin air to get mad and argue about.

The simple fact is in 2017 MSU and probably KY and Vandy have better football teams than LSU, sorry it fricks with your personal self worth to admit it, perhaps you should just go to wal-mart and choose a new team to follow, I am sure they have plenty of t-shirts avalable.

I still think Aranda is a great coach, and LSU's defense could improve. However, I am more skeptical of the offense. Danny Eitling is never going to become anything more than average. The line looks bad, and I am not a fan of Jeff Grimes coaching . Matt Canada is an unknown...at least to me

I'd like to take the opportunity to go on record that I said Orgeron was a mistake from the beginning. He sucks arse and always has. But he talk like us and he's handy with a castnet. If he were from Gary, Indiana he'd be coaching D Line somewhere

Why yes I do, and the new era of LSU football started around 2013-2014.

O's successes are built on emotion. He thinks motivation overcomes all else in planning and strategy. The great coaches tell their teams "weather the storm" that the first 5 minutes of emotion generates. Then the emotion is gone, played out. Then what? That is why O will always be more successful in the big games especially as an underdog and less so when he is playing a team he's supposed to beat. He was obviously very wary of State, but at the same time, State didn't excite or motivate him or the team or the fans. They expected a tough game, but one in which they were just superior in and they played that way. When adversity hit, it was devastating to their mindset. There wasn't supposed to be adversity. They didn't expect it or know how to deal with it and came apart. That's strictly on the coaches. Maybe they learn from this, then again, maybe they don't.

You know what Jacknola, frick off!! We got our asses beat by the better team Saturday night. For all of you that are going off the rails saying LSU is now a bottom feeder, fans are delusional and so forth and so on, frick off!

It was one fricking game, one! Keep talking shite if it makes you all feel better. Why should we as LSU fans be optimist about your team? Because it's our fricking team, not yours!

We have a top 10 recruiting class every year. We do have a good DC and OC. Coach O is not even remotely as bad as all of you continue to make him out to be. This was the worse arse beating in some time, in fact I can't remember the last time, not even the 21-0 lost to Alabama was that bad. We play Alabama better than any team not named Clemson.

So now that we took a beat down we as fan should just pull the plug and pack it in? Well, we aren't built that way and no true fan of their team should, so again, frick off to all the haters

Nobody did their jobs.
The oline has been overrated for years.

The D has a lot of young guys that don't know what to do in certain situations mixed with Vets being dumb.

The receivers sucked big time.

Only one that did his job was Etling and the RBs and they are only as successful as the the receivers and Oline respectively.
