Awe, look at LSU trying to out moral victory us. Y'all really are our true rivals.

No you don't....they got three and LSU got 2 because you get one for the division, one for the SEC and one for the NC.

This must be hard for a leg-humper to understand.

LSU team rings.. 2nd nationally?

Unfortunately its been confirmed its the real deal.

SEC Championship and 13-1 is ring worthy. 2nd in the nation is a fine accomplishment, but nothing to put on a ring.

Maybe it's worthy to the players after one of the best regular seasons in CFB history. If I were a player I wouldn't turn it down, after all the hard work they did to get there.
Just had the bad luck to be forced to play a rematch fueled by lobbying, power broking, and absolute fricking IDIOT BCS human poll voters DECIDING who should be in the game. Sad....

I believe one of the players said this ring was for the BCS and LSU had very little input. Not the official SEC Championship ring.

Yes. This is not their SEC Champions Ring.
That would, ostensibly, say "SEC Champions" on it.

But, since we got a "2nd Place Nationally BCS" ring; what's to stop Bama from getting a
"3rd Place SEC" ring, or a "2nd Place SEC West" ring?

The loser of the BCS championship game gets a ring? What is this Pee Wee football where everyone is a winner?

They probably just got a ring for their participation in a bowl game. The team I worked with lost their bowl but still got a ring and it wasn't even a major bowl game.

They also had very little input into what went on the ring

This has to be a BCS ring. I doubt any players would vote for "#2 nationally" to be on the ring.

...and despite what everyone else in here thinks, I would hope the players got to have input into any ring made for them by the school. They ARE the ones that will be wearing it.

Agreed. It doesn't make much sense for the BCS logo to be on there if it's not. Typically your conference ring won't have that.

If you want to blame someone, blame Oklahoma State. They had their shot and they blew it.

Or blame Jordan Jefferson for sucking balls. Or Les Miles for refusing to play Lee at any point during the game.

Miles didn't complain about having to play Bama again. In fact, as I recall, after the first game he said quite clearly into the camera "I would be HONORED to play that team again".

Quit being a pussy.

This. SEC Champs would be fine. Nobody can take that away. Hell of a lot better than a banner for SEC West Co-Champs.
