I don't know, it kind of sounds like one rogue institution wanted to flaunt the rules and he did what he had to do, with the backing of the other 15 schools, to get them back into line. But maybe that's just me.

The school presidents clearly support him. He wouldn't be doing this dumb shite it he didn't have their blessing.
I hope this LSU team is able to run the score up on Tennessee, Alabama, and Ole Piss. Go for 2 after every td, even in garbage time. Call time outs at the end of the game in trash time if it helps LSU score more points.

We are not alone. I said from the beginning that Sankey would not survive this after his court room performance.
This is well past chancellors and Stankey.
The SEC included a Governor and AG who are both connected to the President of the US we also have a senator who is trying to work on the Save College Athletic Act.
Do you not understand who these chancellors and board of directors get their marching orders from?
This isn’t simply you broke a rule go kick rocks. In true Karen fashion people over reacted without any admissible evidence and went for the most extreme punishment allowed. For what? Hurt feelings?
The SEC passed a rule voted on by everyone barring something that already happened THEN used the rule against a team that said they would comply with all the rules.
Thats it.
And before anyone says we don’t listen to Louisiana Governor or ag, look at your own governor and their party affiliation.
You may have a liberal chancellor, most schools do, but everyone in power above them are in the same club.
