best receiver by far in the sec and the SEC sack leader plays for Ole Miss

Who?

A&M's sack leader as 6 for the year.

Outside of Ole Miss fans, can anyone name another player outside of Patterson

We have the leading wide receiver in the SEC

AJ Brown 678 yards (next closest is Chark at 535 yards)

No clue who he is talking about regarding the sack leader. Right now that's a tie with Charles Wright and Josh Allen - both with 7.

It's a rivalry game and both teams are very inconsistent. I lean towards LSU but it should be a very entertaining game

Haynes - but I believe he is just the SEC leader in total sacks for career (29).

Brown as mentioned is the leading receiver.

It doesn't surprise me that people have no idea who the players are. Not much has been covered in media outside of NCAA talk.

There are two games for LSU every season I would not touch if I was a betting man: Ole Miss and Arkansas.

Regardless of who is "good" or "bad" going into that game, more often times than not, it's going to be a gritty, hard-fought win for someone.

He's in 3rd right now. Derek Barnett sits on top with 32 sacks, and Myles Garrett with 31. Haynes has a solid shot at setting the SEC record though.

I agree LSU should win. But if we play like we did in the 2nd half of Auburn and the Vandy game we will have a chance.

This is just not true. The guy is gonna put pressure on us with his arm alone. He’s good

Agreed. I haven't seen a lot of OM play this season, but I have seen Patterson thread the needle multiple times. He's very good and is going to give our secondary all they can handle.

Current leader. He has the most sacks of any player on a SEC roster.

Why do I feel like LSU is going to lay an egg on the field?

Because we are an unpredictable mess this year and have layed several eggs already.

Every LSU game for the remainder of the year aside from Bama should be considered a toss-up. We seem to be improving, but never underestimate a team playing 25 freshman in competitive game minutes and Ed Orgeron's ability to frick up.

Any time you are playing against a talented/dangerous QB like, Shea Patterson, there is always potential for big plays that could lead to an upset. This is why I was concerned about us playing Missouri/Drew Lock who threw 4 TD passes against our otherwise solid defense.

Very good point. And truthfully, it only takes one bomb for a TD, or one return for a TD to light a rally fire under the arse of your players.

Look at LSU's return this weekend against AU.

Auburn should have beaten us easily supposedly, so we will see. They are always gunning for LSU

Most likely will not happen but you're probably thinking about the egg you laid last year against OM, MSU, and LSU that kept you out of the playoffs.

OM is playing with some fire but their bravado is falsely gained from playing Auburn’s 3rd string and a horrible Vandy squad. I expect LSU to handle them. These players will be playing for Ogre in Oxford. What worse way to point out you have the wrong coach than to get beat by a team that fired that same coach. It won’t happen. LSU rolls.

You may be right. Recent history between the two teams has shown us that the favorite often loses.

Any Ole Miss victory will be vacated, so the entire conference wins.
