If Oregon had won they would be #1 since they beat a fearsome SEC power. Since LSU won it's just another win, so they just move up one.

LSU looked very good tonight and I wouldn't be shocked to see them jump up a few spots. Having said that I don't think it will happen. Maybe if PSU plays us really close next week.

There is no doubt (if there ever was, I didn't have any) that Oregon's offense will fail against solid defensive lines. They just cannot play the perimeter well enough to do it consistently, and Thomas cracks under pressure. They'll wreck their conference again, except maybe Stanford, and then die in another bowl game.
LSU dominated them physically, they might deserve #1 after that.

difference doesnot make ? LSU still plays Bama and it will sort itself out. Ftr Ok, LSU, Bama and it wouldn't upset me one bit we still get our shot at them if Bama and LSU continue to win the rankings won't matter.
