Yeah, sounds like it could have been major and nasty had they not dealt with it quickly. I think it involved impermissible recruiting and also something to do with a free or cheaper than should be apartment.

We threw in heygirl and DG pics as a bonus... Big deal.

You mean the rumors and speculation that were actually confirmed by an NCAA finding?
yep, the same NCAA finding were NCAA pres and former LSU Tiger Emmert said led to the conclusion that there was no wrongdoing by Cam and AU.

There is a bit of a distinction.

they hope that LSU is cheating also

I don't care what LSU does, but they did cheat and now they are in trouble for it. It's not wild speculation and rumor mongering like has been going on for AU for the last six weeks.

You took what I said out of context, I don't have a pony in this show.

I'll put it like this: As far as I'm concerned, Auburn hasn't done anything wrong (Cam, on the other hand...?) as we know it. Also, neither has LSU, as a matter of fact they have done what they are suppose to do.

Again, I have no rooster in this cock fight.

Tired of the analogies?

bullshite. All he said was that there wasn't enough evidence to find Auburn guilty. Not that there was evidence that Auburn was innocent.

I'm not saying LSU didn't do anything wrong I am just saying...... Emmert better dust off that file on his desk or there will be some restless corndogs down on the bayou

That is not what he said in his interview yesterday. It may be what he meant, but that isn't what he said.

I was referring to the official statements.

Didn't watch the interview, but heard the cliff's notes. I doubt that he meant to imply the investigation was completed.

Maybe, but he did specifically commend the enforcement staff for their investigation before saying based on the facts they were able to uncover there was no evidence of wrongdoing on the part of AU or Cam. Watching the interview it seemed like he was implying the investigation was all but over, but maybe that is not what he intended. It did give me a little more confidence to think that AU will not be penalized.

FWIW, it is nearly impossible to absolutely prove a negative in this case.

I think it is in limbo. It will resurface once Cam bolts this spring. Just like Bush, somebody will talk.

LSU fans have their 'heads in the sand'

If LSu gave up 2 schollys, they thought they could get a much harsher penalty. when teams self impose penalties, they dont over sanction themselves

This is bigger than what LSU fans think

No, it's not at all. LSU runs a very clean program.

"very clean programs" dont have to self impose penalties.

bullshite.

Generally teams over-penalize themselves, they just try to direct punishment in a specific area. LSU WAAAAAAY overpenalized itself.

But, again, they are not nearly as experienced in the realm of NCAA sanctions as say. . .AU.

actually you're wrong

Clean programs nip problems in the bud, dirty programs celebrate their cheating like they're fricking invincible.
