The NCAA usually does choose to punish the institution harder than the institution punishes themselves. At least they did that shite to us.
We've also seen the NCAA rule a player or players eligible to play and then come back 18 months LATER and rule the same exact players ineligible and make the institution vacate any wins the players participated in.....

WOW - You better hope none of the Lowder/Dye rumors come to fruition with regards to any current violations. Because a school with any sense would have booted those old farts out of their program a looonngg time ago, just on their history with AU.....
