These self-imposed penalties is LSU hoping to mitigate the eventual hammer.

Be interesting to see what happens with NC State and the new NCAA board. That should give some insight into what will happen to LSU. Basketball and Football being lumped together is what should scare LSU.

Yep. Earlier in this process, there were a lot of LSU fans insisting football wasn't involved. This ends that line of thinking entirely.
