Because this board is obsessed with everything Lane Kiffin and the LSU FB roster and because the latest question is how can LSU get to 105 players, here you Geaux
Despite the 105-player roster limit going into effect in July 2025 and #LSU being at 115 players (after the Junior Tuihalamaka, Dae’Quan Wright, and Zxavian Harris signings) — the Tigers don’t need to cut anybody.
Walk ons and grad players who were signed with the school prior to the July 2025 ruling, counting walk ons and grad players into the 105-limit, are grandfathered in until they’re no longer on the team.
Meaning LSU is actually at 104 players, even after the three new additions, leaving one roster spot still open despite having 115 rostered players.

Let's be honest, amateurism is out the window with NIL. Why have eligibility rules at all? Half of the senior transfers are only taking one online class for their eligibility as a "student athlete." Why not just go full-on expansion team mode and grab the best free agents available? Why shouldn't the SEC challenge the likes of the CFL and XFL? Let's set up a draft and cap spending and be done with the NCAA. Or are the rest of you too poor?
