They're the only team to beat the national champions and they return most of their team. Alabama won't and shouldn't be ranked number 1 preseason. LSU will and it will be deserved (if anyone really "deserves" a preseason ranking)

The moral to this story is research before you get pissy over something that doesn't matter. Their entire defense comes back and their entire oL comes back which in the sec is enough to win.

Who cares? Why should anyone care? When was the last time a preseason #1 finished #1?
Here's what I do care about. Over the last 4 season, BAMA has been ranked #1 at one point or another during the season, BUT while winning 2 National Championships and beating Aubrun's arse 3 of the 4 times.
That's all that matters.

In most years, LSU would have just won the MNC with a young team.... They get Alabama at Home and Alabama lost a lot of player...
