So A&M is 12-13 years behind LSU?
Posted on 1/20/13 at 12:55 pm to BamaStud
Having said all that ... I believe that LSU will regress in the next couple of years ... THEY lost 11 players to the NFL. If Miles can keep that success in the midst of this reality .... I will crown him the King of all Kings ... even if falling short of SEC / National Championship aspirations. I think most outsiders would crown LSU a SUCCESS, here's the deal ... I don't think the LSU folks would crown it a success because they
HAD NICK SBAN ... don't know....

Not even close. Saban got there, and in the next decade they only won two Nattys. Sumlin will win way more than that over the next ten years.

Saban BEFORE LSU equals zero bowl games wins, lsu won bowl games before and after Saban, Saban was winless in bowl games before coming to lsu.

TAMU was impressive ... NO DOUBT ... period ... but TAMU is NOW on the radar of Saban ... what will happen? Don't know ... but recent, past history indicates that Saban will have something VERY special for TAMU in 2013.
WTF are you talking about? What is he going to do to stop Johnny? Absolutely nothing.

Ponder for a moment the LSU roster of all conference-type performers and/or future NFL'ers Nick Saban inherited on Day One, and then step back, take a deep breath and remind yourself that he went 48-16 at LSU:
Ryan Clark
Rohan Davey
Jerel Myers
Trev Faulk
Bradie James
Josh Booty
LaBrandon Toefield
Adrian Mayes
Josh Reed
Erik Alexander
Domanick Davis
Norman Lejuene
Blain Bech
John Corbello
Jeremy Lawrence
Jarvis Green
Brandon Winey
Robert Royal
Abram Booty
Howard Green....
Yeah, the cupboards were bare...

LSU played in a much tougher conference than Aggies. Please see records of SEC teams and head to head match ups vs SWC teams.
The only time Aggies were good was when they were flagerantly cheating. See late 80s and 90s.Private schools have not been good since WWII era due to smaller budgets, academics etc.
Aggies have potential to be very good program. They were shut down by LSU and Florida. They scored 20 first qtr points against a Bama team that came out flat against them but were held to 9 the next 3 qtrs.
Notre Dame ripped Sooner defense. WV scored 59 against Sooner defense.
Let's see what Aggies do the next decade before we compare them to LSU.Remember,Aggie boosters can be just as shady as any in the country just ask NCAA.

In finding the right coach, yes.
Excellent analysis by the OP.

Lolz. You couldn't beat him in Tuscaloosa. Nothing will change next year at Kyle Field.

Yeah ... Saban will stop that. Don't get mad, only understand that Saban WILL stop the QB. Could thing he won it this year ... there will be no other ... it is what it is ...
Whether you like it or not ... Saban WILL stop that shite next year.
Accept it ... don't be mad ... accept that which is..

Bernie Moore is either a robot or Jim from Tuscaloosa.

Poor Aggie has NO IDEA the beatdowns that await from both Bama and LSU. Just no idea. I almost feel sorry for poor Aggie. He got a triple the first time up against Roger Clemons and thinks triples are now his birthright.
Much soul-shaking Aggie Existential Angst ahead...

Didn't beat LSU in Tuscaloosa in 2011 and then what happened?
Didn't beat Tebow in 2008 in the Georgia Dome and then what happen?
Same ole story, same ole song and dance my friend.
To add insult injury Alabama turn the ball over 3 times to A&Ms 0 and A&M won by five, count'em five points. I'd rather be good and drop one game and make it to a conference and national title, than be lucky and play in the Cotton Bowl against Choklahoma. Seriously A&M beating Oklahoma was as about as relevant as walking down the street to a cousin's house and beating them in NCAA on freshmen.
