I been watching Quarterback on Netflix and at first, JD seemed like a nice well spoken dude but then I just noticed after a few episodes it’s all about him.
They talked about his rookie season when he won OROY and his goal going forward wasn’t to win one more game as a team and win a SB it was about him winning MVP next. It was all about him and his progression, not about the team at all.
Other QBs on that show said ”we” all the time. “We” came up short, “I didn’t do good enough, “we have to take the next step” “I have to be better for the team” he said none of that
His mom is a cancer, I think he’s a good dude at heart but it’s been beaten into his brain it’s all about him

I’m a Redskins fan and while he sure is talented he simply doesn’t have the traits to lead a team to a Super Bowl win as a QB. But, he’ll have a nice career and win some games.

I don’t think this was a big deal. He was upset, he’ll get over it, the media will milk it. But I don’t think the LSU fan base needed to disown him. I hope some fans didn’t take it so serious as others have.
He has a disagreement with the school about something that isn’t a big deal, the school probably isn’t going to disown him, the fans don’t need to use this opportunity to crap on him. He basically won that Heisman all by himself, he was the team. His legs were dynamic.
