There would be idiots on tiger rant complaining if LSU hired Nick saban or Kirby Smart. Point is that most logical LSU fans trust Brian Kelly in hiring coaches because he has a great track record of it. If it doesn’t work out, then yes it will be easy to say that it was obvious he was the wrong hire. Only time will tell

I guess I'm more shocked that a program that is a top SEC team wouldn't have gone and gotten the top guy out there instead of a guy that honestly doesn't have much P5 experience and the experience he does have only led to a #93 and #117 ranking in run defense . Again Lindsey is a really nice guy.

He had some of the most talent ever at the d line position here and we always underperformed. Can’t think of anyone he developed either
