Probably because it’s a common problem among young RBs

Also CEH is a beats and gets 80% of our meaningful snaps if not more.

We should bring back both tackles
Well bring back Ingram who was a starter in 2017 and then suspended in 2018 and now is working back I to The starting 5. We may bring back Cush.

So anywhere from 3-4 OL back.

At most we will return 6-9 offensive starters.
All depends on how Brennan plays. Although we’ll have a strong running game too.

Strong

RT: Deculus will return for senior season

RG: Insert Katdell Thomas off of injury. Running already. Monster

C: Maybe return Cushenberry or replace him with 3rd year Chasen Hines, road grader.

LG: Ed Ingram, 4th year Junior, has played a ton.

LT: Sahdiq may leave. If he does Dare a Rosenthal 3rd year replaces him. He’s started at LT for us this year

LSU has talent coming out of it's arse. We always have been very talented bc of Louisiana talent alone, and will only continue to get better with our offensive success and the way we are recruiting bc of it, not only in our immediate footprint of Louisiana, Texas, and mississippi (while plucking top talent our of Florida, Georgia, Alabama, etc...and have been for a while now) but nationally as our brand expands into other areas around the country like it is as we speak. Just look at our recruiting class right now and see where these studs we have committed are coming from. It's scary, very scary, and will be ridiculous under coach O and staff. Myles Brennan will be our starter for the next 2 seasons, and he has very good arm talent...prob better pure arm talent than burrow...and that's no exaggeration. He has just been to skinny and not mature enough physically to play for LSU his first few seasons for an entire sec schedule. Now he is though. He has been sitting back and developing under our staff both physically and mentally. He will be ready next year and will do a fine job for us. He's going to take the sec by storm in the same fashion Joe burrow has done. in the near future, we will get elite qbs with this offense and the talent we have surrounding any prospective qb to entice them to come here. Why wouldn't you want to be LSUs qb? Honestly? LSU is going to be a very sexy offense for top level qb talent for a while to come. Especially after this season and Brightside Joey burrow winning the Heisman...which he will. LSU is going to be a juggernaut under coach O, and he's just now only getting started here. We comin'. Once we arrive to the point where he envisions this program being, we are going to be a dominant football program, not only in the sec, but nationally. We are well on our way, and it's going to happen, whether bama or anybody else likes it or not. There's nothing anyone can do to stop it. LSUs golden era is coming under orgeron, and it will be glorious. What a great time to be an LSU fighting tiger! Geaux tigers!

I mean, I get it, its been a long time since LSU has had even close to such offensive prowess, but Burrow is a special player. LSU has always been able to recruit great offensive skill talent, but Burrow + Brady(and CEH) is the reason for what we've seen this season. Players like Burrow don't grow on trees.

I might be wrong, Brennan might step right in, and be electric. But we've all seen it so many times before with so many different teams. A team loses their super star QB, and the same success is hard to replicate. I'm not saying this as a bitter Alabama fan or anything like that. I am just trying to save you guys some letdown. Like said, maybe I'll be wrong. If I am, I'll be here to eat my crow.

Right now returns everyone except RG Lewis and part time starter Magee at LG who has been splitting time with Ingram as they work Ingram back into football after missing all last season

Surtain played a good game

Diggs looked lost - like a guy who has gotten by on athletic ability but still isn't there in terms of actual cornerback skill

McKinney struggled, but I still give him slack as he's basically having to call the defense at 2 levels and make up for mistakes that guys like Benton made the whole game. Half of his bad angles and late sprints to get to a ball carrier are because Benton is beat/out of position and he's desperately trying to clean it up. And he has to diagnose the coverage in the back end and then tell Benton what to do on every single play.

Hmm I thought McKinney looked like your best player on defense. I didnt really notice Surtain so I guess that is a good thing. Diggs and Stingley were picked on and I honestly didn't expect it before the game.

Mckinney played with a lot of intensity, and was pretty good against you guys, save for like 2 plays. But those two plays included getting spin cycled by CEH, and having Burrow blow through him on a crucial 3rd down. Kinda sticks out

Mike Detillier said yesterday he just may return for his senior season- that he probably wouldn't be an early round pick, this year. We will see.

Surtain - frist round lock
Diggs- 3rd round
McKinney- 2nd to 3rd round.

Surtain is the most talented out of all of them. there is a reason LSU threw away from him
