Remember that thread with The Amazing Death-Defying Wall Of Text where the Aggie fantasized openly about the early death of Big Brother?

Yeah that was embarrassing.
Big Brother is embarrassed for Little Brother.

I am just saying Joe has a motivation to take this case to court simply for the optics of it. It looks like he is trying hard to make sure a villian doesn't walk off with the school's money, which win or lose gives him political cover when he needs to spend big in the future.

A&M has no local political benefit like that. All we get out of this is to put a thorn in the paw of "the new tu," which quite frankly is a cheap thrill that will wear off quickly if our defense performs as well as it can be reasonably expected to perform. I think we will grow tired of it unless it is a slam dunk for Chavis, and we may push him to settle.

This case can either go moderately well for Joe (we pay in settlement) or bad (he is proven incompetent in court), while for A&M it can either go great (Chavis wins and maybe money but mostly a shite talking point) or moderate (we settle). Since the risk is lower for us I feel Joe must be looking at the political benefits to justify moving forward.

Little Johhny Rehab is already under the care of certifed health professionals. I would like to know if you and oldsarge are in need of such care.

I will pay for a an evaluation if you agree to let the therapist access your post history and share the report with us on the SEC Rant.

Maybe we could do a live chat with said therapist here at the SEC Rant and allow everyone here to "sit in" on these sessions as we all try to gain more understanding of your obsession with LSU and what you need to do to move on with your life.

I need to leave now to go get to the gym for an hour of lifting and a 5 mile jog. Please give my offer some thought as you squat on this thread for the remainder of the day. Peace.

When you're really big bro, you don't feel the need to keep telling everybody that you're big bro.

You are completely missing my point.

I am not saying that the cuts will directly cut the budget of the AD. In fact from my understanding the money for the facilities is all there, but delayed because of optics. The fact that Joe has to play with optics is a dangerous thing, because it means the shitty political situation in Louisiana MAY lead to cuts in the AD.

Optics is a big deal in college football. Most of these schools are public entities, and state lawmakers have had a history of putting their I'm a little teapot Short & stout Here is my handle Here is my spout When I get all steamed up I just shout Tip me over & pour me out I am a very special pot It is true Here is an example of what I can do I can turn my handle into a spout Tip me over & pour me out I'm a little teapot Short & stout Here is my handle Here is my spout When I get all steamed up I just shout Tip me over & pour me out I am a very special pot It is true Here is an example of what I can do I can turn my handle into a spout Tip me over & pour me out was cutting the education budget.

Optics are huge, optics are why a Wincy doesn't The wheels on the bus go Round and round Round and round Round and round The wheels on the bus go Round and round All day long The people on the bus go Up and down Up and down Up and down The people on the bus go up and down All day long The driver on the bus says Move on back B1G Network. Optics keeps a glass ceiling on that program.

When shite hits the fan like it is in Louisiana then anything tied to the government sitting on a nest egg might be seen as a source of revenue. Some of yall seem confident that LSU's AD is seen as such a public benefit that no politician would dare touch it but I remember a time when those shitty Louisiana politicians almost ran the Saints out of the state. I see people bitch on this very forum that poor underpaid Les makes too much money, so obviously there isn't this unified local sympathy that paying Texanish amounts for coaches would fly in that environment. College and Pro football optics in Louisiana matter for as long as it remains a purple state.

tl:dr the shitty politicians might come after Joe's money as a way to avoid really bad cuts in the LSU system if Joe spends crazy amounts on any single person or project. Little Miss Muffet Sat on a tuffet, Eating her curds and whey; Along came a spider, Who sat down beside her And frightened Miss Muffet away.in the public sphere that he can go after. Blah, fricking blah, blah, blah.

What is it about you aggies and these walls of text trying to obfuscate the fact that you really don't know what the frick you're talking about? Is this just another one of your weird traditions?

I mean, I didn't even read your tl;dr summary because it was tl.

We just wink or change the topic when people ask as we take you around the neighborhood because we know you want to be a Big Boy. And some day you may be if you follow the family template. But even if you get through adolescence, you will always be our Little Brother. It's okay though, because we will take good care of you.

LSU is really reminding me more and more of our relationship with Texas Tech. Texas Tech was the angry, partying little cousin who could surprisingly beat us sometimes in football.

LSU fan = Texas Tech fan

Just glad to get that in perspective.

Regarding the outcome of this suit, it's obviously uncertain. Chavis must have had contact with TAMU prior to resigning. The degree of the contact with regards to the degree of the contract breach will get resolved. I was just hoping LSU would off some gratitude towards The Chief and be the big University. This all seems so petty.

Is it also surprising to you that the sun sets at night and rises in the morning?
