LSU loses to Ole Miss, aTm, and OU.

Respect.

I can see that. I can see you beating OU, as they are just waiting to sink.

2 games bama cannot lose this year, LSU and Auburn. the lsu vs bama game will be both coaches, coaching for equity into 2025.

It’s really hard to say. I thing we have a lot of teams in the SEC that seem to be about the same.

You lost to an unranked Kentucky team at home your first real matchup of the season. Classic. YAOM.

No at worst LSU splits those games. I think the best programs over the last few years are going to have to get used to 2-3 losses nearly every year. I think as we move towards an NFL model that will just be the new norm.

Bad matchup for sure.

UK is good. You take the USC game out which I have no explanation for that performance, they had UGA beat late in the 4th, and squeeked out one agaisnt us.

They would give LSU fits as well. Their D is very good, enough to bottle up LSU.

How restless will the cajuns be with a 5 loss season in year 3?

A 4-5 loss season would be a tough pill to swallow. It's not beyond the realm of possibility with our defense; however, our main priority should be keeping our #3 ranked recruiting class intact. The reality is that we are still rebuilding. That is on Kelly in large part because his initial defensive hires were dog shite, but the new defensive staff is recruiting much better and the future looks brighter if we can hold onto this class.

Could lsu be 4-5 going into the Florida game?

Om is favored

I recall 2022

I believe Ole Miss was 8-0, top ten and they were likely favored over my lowly tigers.

Result-

LSU 45 Ole Miss 20

Rebs proceed to lose 5 of their final 6.

Well, as last weekend proved, anything is possible…and there is a shitload of football to be played, starting this weekend. It’s already been a fun SEC season. Who could have predicted A&M would be heading the conference with 3 SEC wins…and Alabama would be behind Vanderbilt in the SEC standings, and every team that’s played at least two SEC games has a conference loss. Wow

I don’t think they will be 0-4, but I do think they’ll be 2-2 at best. Drop any of their other games, and they’re a 4 loss team.

However I don't see him being the one man show like Daniels was. The OM front 7 are built differently then we were the last 3 years.

You're right. There is absolutely no way that history repeats itself this year for the 100th time. Ole Miss will beat LSU and go on to make the playoffs, culminating in a National Championship. There is zero chance ya'll step on your dicks.....AGAIN.... and end up 8-4.

Got it.

It isn't 2022... LSU doesn't have J Daniels, and this will be the best D LSU has seen to date.

Reasonable.

What happens if / when LSU is victim to tampering and you get raided after a bad year. Those freshman have to play right away, ready or not. You are on year 5 of the rebuild?

Or does Kelly go portal Heavy, pisses off the freshman and they are out of there in the spring?

LSU IS BURNING!!!!!

Big question is how will Ole Miss' offense operate if Harris is out or not near 100%. Scored 10 on USC in 5 drives after he got injured. And the TD drive was only a medium length 59 yard one. Huge part for that OM offense to keep ticking.

I guess that’s why the rebs are so heavily favored.

He is playing.. Not sure if he will be close to 100%. We had a big lead didn't push the ball much. And we fumbled the ball into the endzone which would have been another score.

Having him on the field will be draw coverage away from our other guys. Dart targets him to much, we have other weapons he needs to use.

One thing I have not been pleased with is the lack of short passing, like last year.
