As an Alabama fan I hope LSU wins. Anything that keeps Ed O at LSU is a good thing - for Alabama fans. If I was an LSU fan I would be pulling for Miami to blow out LSU. The sooner LSU gets rid of Ed the sooner they get better.
I’m going to hold on to this doozie.

This is perhaps the most profound observation ever to migrate from Tr to this board. It is one of the best analyses ever of the strategy needed to win football games.
Just imagine winning by shutting down the opponents offense and finding a way to score against their defense. I’ll bet even Saban has taken note. I’ll bet this is LSU’s secret binder.

I’m glad everyone expects LSU to suck this year. Keep this in mind, LSU won 9 games with Danny Etling at qb. I’d say Burrow is a little better than him, just a little.
Maybe, we don’t know that yet. Burrow also won’t have Fournette or Guice lining up behind him. This is the first year in a while LSU won’t have a proven back going into the season.

Probably the most bandwagon thing I’ve ever heard. But, it is coming from a bama fan.. who would root against their team just to get rid of a coach? If you could do that, there’s no way you’re a real fan of that team.

We’re LSU, I never worry about skill positions at LSU. We also have a pretty decent RB history before Fournette and Guice. Remember this kid, Edward St. Helaire. He’s the next great LSU running back.

He’s not wrong. The longer Orgeron is at LSU the longer it will take LSU to get back to any semblance of relevance after he is fired.

If he is as bad as everyone says, then he will push himself out the door with losing. Why would I root for that?

If the rumblings are legit about Miami's O line being absolutely terrible, the under looks like a very solid play.

His name is Clyde Edwards Helaire, and I’m familiar with him. I hope you’re right, but he’s an unknown at this point.

I’m not telling you to root against him.

Orgeron did terrible at OM, but he loaded them with stellar players for the amusement park sideshow that was Houston Nutt.
To say we will be worse for wear is an unfounded claim.

Who gives a shite what CEO did at Ole Miss?
I like the job he’s doing at LSU now. He’s fixed the depth issues on the OL, DL, and LB positions that Les Miles left bare and went 9-4 with a team that was thin at those positions last season. We’re stacked this upcoming season on the DL and LB. I don’t worry about the defense under Aranda.
If the OL gels and Burrow lives up to the hype, only one team will be expected to beat us. UGA and Auburn will be toss ups.
LSu will beat everyone else on the schedule, book it!

Good God, I'm glad I'm not an LSU fan.
Have you not been keeping up with expectations for us this year? 6-6/7-5 seems to be the consensus. So beating any decent team by even 1 point is a positive this year.
Until we get a legitimate head coach, we will continue the hope for the best, expect the worst mentality.
I think we lose to Miami 27-17.

No one knows what LSU will look like and 13-10?
By all accounts Miami will really struggle at OL. Front 7 is by far our strength(strongest it's been in a long long time).
LSU 27
Miami 10

Miami's oline is going to be bad. It is going to be a coming out party for K'Lavon, Lawrence, Fehoko, and the Rougarou. The Miami QB will be on the ground all day. LSU 38-10.
