I just do not even get the purpose of vacating a win. LSU won the games on the field.
At State we were forced to forfeit 19 wins and 2 ties from 1975-1977 because a football player got a discount at a clothing store that was available to ALL STUDENTS.
The 1976 State team was 9-2 on the field. I still those games as victories.
Notice I said forfeit which is even worse than vacating and both are egregiously wrong.
If LSU fans were in attendance during those wins, then imo they are still wins.
