This post is directed squarely at the second group, so check your knuckles now if your excuse for a program made it into the SEC development league.

Kentucky and Vandy suck and they know it. Being less bad than usual doesn't make you good and anything standing next to Tennessee looks like the belle of the ball at this moment in the East.

Tennessee, Arkansas, and South Carolina are terminal cancer patients who are too far down the list to get a lifesaving head coach transplant. Somehow, the gradual wasting is worse than a full on collapse.

Then there are the utter joke teams. Mizzou... just dear God, why did we adopt a special needs child we couldn't support? We were not ready for this. Aggie is right where it deserves to be: down and out at the bottom of a bottle and brewing up its own racism scandal to emulate Mizzou. Then there is Ole Miss, a program that is squinting so hard to see bright future that taking on the entire NCAA seemed like the rational choice. There may not be any conference championship trophies in Oxford, but I'll be damned if you can tell me a better place to find a circa 2002 flip phone at 3:00 am during the recruiting dead period.

It's really just you and us, Florida. We both have terrible offenses. We both have fertile recruiting grounds. We are both going to get curb stomped by Alabama at some point this year. There is not enough room in the cellar for both of us and LSU is going to whip up a pot of shark fin gumbo in Gainesville this year.

Bama, State, Georgia, Aubs(??)... y'all do your thing and let LSU handle the rest of the conference. The JV kids need a good workout and LSU is ready to deliver.
