LSU is not a good team. They cant stop a really running attack and cant move the ball on a good defensive line
They are a long ways away
Still

Try watching game next time ,you will get a better understanding. Like how LSU pushed Ole Miss up and down the field.
I got that impression too. I read the recap.
What gives me the impression that it was a sloppy game was the fact that LSU dominated the game and only scored 10 points; LSU missed so many plays that could have blown the game open. The box score suggests that LSU kept Ole Miss around until the last play of the game.

I was going to post a real response but damn. Could not get past this statement.

The defense and ST kept OM in it. LSU's defense made Bo revert back to the egg bowl.

Yes.

No.
I don't like it, but bama is going to beat LSU in BR in a couple of weeks. LSU is one dimensional and their passing game is just not a big enough threat. If there is one thing bama does well, it is stopping the run. Bama's run D is as good as Auburn's (AU is 2nd or 3rd in the SEC in run D) and that was more than enough to stop LSU's run game.
As much as I would like to see LSU win and respect the big game night atmosphere bama will face, this is just a bad matchup for LSU, much like AU was. Power run game on offense and very good defense against the run is a problem for this year's LSU team.

We have a game manager which you've had the last four years.

Florida and Ole Miss' offenses are shaky as well.
So they beat you and all of a sudden they are "shaky"?

I don't know why he said they're shaky. LSU and Alabama's offenses scored the same amount points and had almost identical yardage on OM's d.

What was Ole Miss' run defense ranked in the SEC?

LSU has problems when going up against competent spread style offenses with very good running QB's who understand the system.
Against both Auburn and Miss. State, the QB's benefited from using 4 and 5 WR sets to spread the fiels that forced the LB's to move to the edges of the box i order to cover the short zone in case of a pass. This would basically create a 5-6 on 4 advantage for the O - lines and really can neutralize the 4-2-5 set up that Chavis likes to use.
Alabama is more of a pro style offense. Kiffin is from more of a pro background, his USC offenses had pro style QB's(Leinart, Booty, et al) traditional running attacks and receivers. Saban likes the pro style offense, his Offensive line is built for the traditional style with big guys who try to maul you and beat you up( Kuondjio and Cam Robinson).
Alabama has a very real edge with its receiving corps with Cooper and Jones along with the TE. Also Yeldon is quite effective out of the backfield as a receiver - see 2012.
I think LSU's DL is getting better each week and also the revamping of LB corps...mainly Beckwith has drastically improved the unit - Welker was getting faked out of his shorts routinely.
Actually, I think that LSU can hold up pretty good against other traditional running teams like Arkansas. They don't have to defend the pass as much and I actually think against Georgia, they could win quite handily either at home or on a neutral field.

Now I'm not going to sit here and say they are world-beaters, but Wisconsin has a power running game I'd put on par with Arkansas. Wisconsin is 2nd in the country running the ball (338 ypg) and have the 4th leading rusher in Gordon.
Say what you will about Wisconsin not running Gordon in the 2nd half, but they did, and he was stuffed - not to mention he took a pounding in the 1st half such that he was a bit banged up by the 2nd. I'll also point out that Wisconsin is no slouch in defending the run either, ranked 15th nationally.
That said, it's been mostly running QBs that have been giving the Tigers problems.
But the question can be asked of Alabama, can they hold up against LSU's running game? Can they run on the Tigers without the threat of a running QB?

...and Ole Miss' is better.......your point?
Also, this is NOT the same team Auburn faced a few weeks back. And, you know it.

LSU had a number of encouraging first down runs at Auburn, but Harris' bobbled snaps/turning the wrong way torpedoed many 2nd downs.

Ole Miss > Bama
LSU > Ole Miss
Therefore.....
LSU > Bama
Right? Isn't that the way it works?

I'm not too confident about us going in there and winning. I know we are capable of doing it, but it will be tough, especially with Cam being injured. We will have to be on our A game.
