Good win for LSU. All you can do is play whatever team lines up. LSU took them to the woodshed.

We ain’t Clemson.. Personally I like our matchup vs LSU. Our defense gonna feast.

Didn't anyone know that Chad Morris is a very bad OC? I was expecting this to be a blowout. I am wondering who will replace Dabo at the end of this season. Dabo had mailed it in after hiring Chad Morris to be his OC. Gus Malzahn did the exact same thing. That got him fired.

Yes the two starting DL would have changed the 600 plus yards of total offense
if they are really good they could disrupt the game... not sure why you'd think that is weird

Yall do realize it is possible to watch games and analyze what your eyes see right? Regardless on how bad you think Clemson is they’re infinitely better than any team an SEC played except possibly Auburn. So there’s that.

asterisk game

The Gumps will never get over their 2020 “asterisk” season. So now every other team who wins a primetime game (especially LSU) is an “asterisk” game to them. Nice try, but your projection has been fully denied.

The lack of talent at DT definitely had an effect. Props to LSU for exploiting that weakness.

You aren't fully wrong. Most of us are excited but far from cocky today.

Now do Alabama…

They looked extremely mid but to each his own

They looked a bit shaky in the 1st quarter. But they were up 38-7 at the half. They won 48-10. Outgained them 487 to 162. Against a team that went 9-4 last season and won their mid tier bowl game.

QB Russell had more total yards than any QB in his first Alabama start since 1958 not named Bryce Young. A team that could not run the ball last year had 227 yards rushing. Sure a Williams dropped two passes and had a fumble, but that is feature not a bug. He still had 130 yards receiving.

Think about how much they would have won by if they hadn’t been shaky.

I don’t think Dabo could hire anyone else. Good coordinators no longer want to work for Dabo.

Clemson would have trounced your opponent yesterday.

I would feel confident making a wager that Clemson does not finish the season with the best record of any of the teams SEC teams played yesterday.

Disagree, LSU is good. If Leavitt keeps playing within himself and making the “easy” throws, they will be elite IMO. He’s a playmaker back there.
