You have to be fricking stupid. The SEC did not entice these players to try to come back to college. Kiffin did that. Kiffin told these guys they would have a spot and they didn't. This will 100% fall on Kiffin and LSU and you have to be fricking stupid to think otherwise.

Didnt Coach Heaux admit they practiced with the team? Not a gotcha? Thought this was well known?

So Kiffin never told them they would have a spot? Only the courts?
Posted on 9/8/26 at 9:45 pm to Shaq4prez
And it makes zero difference. Ole Miss eventually agreed with the SEC. After telling these guys they could play. This is on Kiffin and nobody else.

LSU signed the contract with the promise of paying them
You have no fricking clue what those contracts say. This was likely contemplated.

If Kiffin told them they could, then the court told them they could, but the SEC said “No” and went scorched earth……
Explain how that doesn’t end in the SEC getting sued again. I’ll wait, because this should be good.

quote:. And this is relevant how? He was denied and ruled ineligible. He sued and got a TRSO to play until his case is heard. It being for a medical redshirt or for turning 30 makes no difference. They said he can’t play because he didn’t have eligibility left. Same thing for the kids who went and played summer league football. The main difference is, those guys actually have an argument to stand on as they technically have one year left as they were included in the new 5-5 rule as it included their class. Chambliss has really no stance other than to cry and hope to get some home cooking from a local judge as the NCAA has reviewed and heard his appeals but denied him twice for the medical redshirt shirt
Except it was a medical redshirt as the argument

Because the players never had a financial agreement with the SEC.
If you sign a contract with a client, it is responsibility of the client to ensure that the work can be fulfilled. It is the responsibility of the client to ensure the legality of what they’re doing.

The Supreme Court also agreed with the judge and Chambliss will win on the merits or the ncaa will quit because the case is moot

I knew it would be good.
Explain how Pavia sued the SEC/ NCAA and won, all based on limiting his monetary opportunities. He didn’t have a contract with either of them, as you have so astutely pointed out.
These players will sue, and they will win. The only question is going to be how much the SEC has to pay.
