If Brian Kelly would have listened to the geniuses that is LSU fan last season, and benched Jayden Daniels causing him to transfer
1-what would LSUs record be this season?
2-Would Kelly be out of the job?

1. Maybe an extra loss.
2. No.
2. No.

#1 He already transferred once so would have had to go juco to something, ergo I doubt that would have happened
#2 What coaches listen to fans?
#3 Impossible to say what the record would be as the scheme and thus the team itself would constructed very different. Both offensively and defensively
#4 Of course he wouldn’t be fired you idiot

No need for personal attacks just because I asked a hypothetical question. LSU has fired 2 National Championship coaches in the span of about 10 years so the question is a legit question
Edit: Les Miles was fired in 2016
Ed O was fired in 2021. So LSU has fired 2 National Champion coaches in the span of 5 years

If LSU went winless in conference play, Kelly would at the very least be on the hot seat and every LSU fan on this board would be calling for his head

That’s not what this topic is about. Let’s not change the subject. I’d appreciate it if you answered my question though. Thanks

With as bad as the defense was, 2-3 more losses.
He beat Florida by himself!

This is a shitty thread by someone wanting to start shite. By an Alabama fan alter who cares nothing about the answer but wants lots of responses. Who would want that?
Just questions I have. No accusations.

So about 6-6?
I’d say that they would’ve lost to Florida, Auburn, Missouri, and they barely beat Arkansas, so they probably lose that one too. I’ve got 4 extra losses. So they would have 7 total losses right now in my opinion. Also they probably lose to A&M. 4-8 final record

Truth is part of the defensive woes are an offense that scores so quickly
They would not be great but very differently statistically if they weren’t back on the field so quickly dt fast scoring offense and no click grinding sustained drives to rest
If LSU didn’t have JD5 they would have rode their beast oline and running back committee, and mix in 2 of the best receivers in the country and I’m not sure they would be winless in conference.

Most topics I’m not interested in, I just keep scrolling. I’m genuinely interested in the question or I wouldn’t ask it. If you’d like to talk about something else, start your own thread. You only asked one question BTW

It’s really not. I’ve heard all season from LSU fans that JD carried this team. I agree. Nussmeier isn’t a bad QB, but JDs legs have saved this team time after time. I actually think LSU would still beat Miss St and maybe Florida, but that’s it

Maybe, but I don’t think they do. Auburn had to abandon their running game early that day(which is the strength of their offense) because they couldn’t stop Daniels. Also because of JDs running ability, defenses can’t just pin their ears back and attack the quarterback. They shift to a containment game which gives him more time to pick a secondary apart. Auburn defense plays their best when they have an aggressive game plan. Had to soften up the blitz packages against LSU because of Daniels.
