Your 247 board is melting down over it, too. Shea is in damage control mode.

Yeah, the offensive scheme has always been my point of concern with the Brian Kelly hire.

The recruiting "shortfalls" and "culture fit" stuff is much ado about nothing IMO but his offense at Notre Dame was somewhat Jimboish and left a lot to be desired.

Not as outdated as Les Miles but not exactly cutting edge either.

A lot of Kelly's hire have been solid but I don't get the OC one. I watched and read a bunch of Cincinnati stuff before our game and their offense seemed extremely scattershot. Maybe that was personel (even within their league), I dunno.

So, does "fast and furious" now mean "hopefully soon"?

Per pretty credible sources, they've made like 4 hires over the last 48 hours.

UC's QB was really bad at locking onto a receiver from the snap and it was getting his passes knocked down all night.

Not sure that Cincy game is a good indication of how LSU's offense will look.

But you could run the wing T and if you had top talent still be a top team. Don't think the system matters a whole lot.

It's also kind of odd to me that Denbrock left Kelly and Notre Dame to go to Cincinnati but is now rejoining him at LSU.

Yea I’m not impressed either. But per some of the recruits Kelly has told them he is running the offense so not sure what to think

Hope it works out

Good. They should make hires right? And I'm sure these are the #1 bestest hires ever. Better than everyone else. Right?

Meh, as long as they aren't quitters I'm sure LSU will make it work.

You've made that retort so many times, nobody plays any attention to you. But it makes you feel good to write it right? Over and over and over and over again and again and again and again.
