LSU has only one "real" rival and its Ole Miss.

The uniform matchup is S tier.

Plenty of hate while maintaining a (mostly)classy environment. More often than not its a war. There are a bunch of other schools LSU has had killer games with but this is really it.

Bama was solely because of Saban.

Im okay with the 3 permanents. I wanted Florida over A&M but whatever.

This year will mark 62 years in a row that LSU plays Alabama. Grizzly, get some perspective.

The reason LSU-Ole Miss is so great is all the history. I don't hate anybody like I hate LSU. But I respect the shite out of them...pretty sure they (LSU) don't respect us as much, but I feel like they always dread playing OM...we've beaten them more than we should have over the years.

When comparing all the advantages LSU has over Ole Miss, generally speaking, it is ridiculous how close these games often are. LSU wants Ole Miss to be trash SO bad lol...

The game needs to be moved to Halloween weekend going forward.

Both teams play on real grass so they are instantly less trashy than Texas

I mean LSU is 19-6 (7-3 in last 10yrs) against Ole Miss this century. Are you saying it should be worse?

This is true after they dropped Tulane. OM is our biggest rival per history shows. Ark/La boot sucks. Bama is probably second. Then FL third for me. I hated it when we dropped Tulane as last game of the year was always fun.

Beat writer told Kiffin, during his press conference, that the LSU game is the one the old-timers at Ole Miss want to win the most

I don’t usually pull for Texas A&M, but when I do, they’re playing LSU.

lol of course it should be...would you like a list as to why? The overall series record is 64-42. LSU wins 60% of the time. That's not really dominate.

Not having it in the same place on the schedule has thrown alot of salt on the rivalry and made it seem like just another SEC game, to even LSU/reb fans

Halloween is the perfect weather for both BR and oxford, needs to be there.

The UF and Auburn games were huge before Saban got to Bama.

In reality, UF and Ole Miss are the two rivals of LSU. Sad to see that game off the schedule.

not to sound like an aggie trying to reengineer the A&M-Texas to make it look more competitive

but pre-integration is doing a lot of heavy lifting for Ole Miss' 42 wins

I respect the program. Not the fans. Every school has college age kids who major in assholeness. LSU glorifies it even from adults.

The issue is LSU fans are NFL/Saints fans. They aren't your normal college fanbase. I feel bad for the good fans. LSU has a large proportion of shitty fans compare to the other surrounding SEC fanbase.
