The more this happens, the less anyone will believe Alabama fans that they have to maintain the cross-division game with Tennessee.

I forgot about that one. It had huge implications.
OP should be thanking LSU for that one.

Has MSU been in a meaningful game using your logic? They haven't been in the SEC championship game since 1998. You got as high as #1 in 2014. How did those meaningful games go for the mighty Bulldogs after they became rated so high?

I kind of agree, but you could also just say we haven't beaten bama since 2011. That's really the only obstacle to winning the west. What other meaningful games have we played?
I would argue beating UGA this past year to stay in SEC contention was a meaningful game. And every power 5 kick off game we play is pretty meaningful. Everybody comes to play week 1 and it is important to beat ranked teams from other conferences.
Fiesta bowl, eh it was a good win, but yea i agree it wasn't super meaningful. A loss would have been bad though.

OP is an Alabama fan... Idk how it takes some of y’all so long to realize

Hard to believe Ole Miss has been closer to Atlanta since 2011 than LSU.

We can’t all be 44-16. I really think 44-16 sums this post up nicely. Always remember the 44-16

This kind of argument is really dumb. It supports the proposition that only one college game a year is meaningful.

Did any of those wins put you in Atlanta or the playoffs answer is no. Fun wins but no titles won.
Kept Georgia out of the playoffs, finally shut UCF up for the country, arguably started the downfall of Ole Miss’s great season, arguably have done the same thing to Auburn multiple times so yes many of our wins have had implications on the playoffs and who goes to Atlanta

Taking pride in keeping teams out over actual titles.
Ed O really is LSU’s version of Mike Shula.
Mike Shula won a “NY6” game the year before he was fired, too.

I don't spend a moment in here noticing if OP is a Bama fan but I noticed the MSU logo on his name.

LSU hasn't won a meaningful big game since the 2011 season? Is that what you're honestly saying? If so, youre just wrong. Just last season we beat the hell out of Miami opening game in dallas, we blew out uga in tiger stadium, we went on to best ucf in the Fiesta bowl as well. I would say that all of those were big games that LSU won just last season alone. So, you are an idiot.
Since when is losing 3 games a season OK at LSU? Lol, we fired Les Miles for seasons like that and will fire O if he does the same. Championships are the only thing that matters at LSU. If you aren't winning one, then you won't last here. Those are the expectations and will always be here at LSU, bc unlike many other programs, championships are very attainable here due to the advantages our program has. So, you're wdone again. That's 2 times in the same op.

They beat JFF his Heisman year. Other than that, they've won nothing meaningful.

A Bama fan telling us that if we can't beat Bama, we aren't going to the SEC championship?
Water is wet.

He's an idiot. Neither team claims him. Not sure why he gets off trolling State, but it is what it is.

LSU has won a good deal of big games and may very well be the second best team in the SEC (vying for #1 soon).
Posted on 6/24/19 at 2:29 pm to AHM21
I’m not taking pride in that but the fact that this guy said LSU hasn’t won a meaningful or big game since 2011 is nonsense. LSU has won many meaningful and big games that have impacted LSU and all of college football
