Chase and Jefferson are both better. This is nonsense

I think we’re forgetting two other young up-and-coming wide receivers one named Thomas playing for Jacksonville and another one who has playing for the New York Giants

Exactly. Let's be serious.

Julio was wasted at Bama unfortunately.

As a true freshman he had 924 receiving yards. He was hampered by a hand injury and in season surgery his sophomore year but still had 596 yards.

His junior season he had 1,133 yards, second in the league in receiving behind Alshon Jeffery. He was then the 6th pick in the NFL draft.

Explain how that qualifies as being wasted. Please show your work.

Alabama was a much better team because they spread the ball around and didn’t throw it to Julio Jones every play.

Is this correct? Wow

Give me prime Odell over any WR ever.

Julio is probably the best WR from a visiting team that I got to see in person.

And yet, I think a case can be made that Chase is already better than him. And probably Jets as well. Nabers and BTJ aren't far behind.

Chase, Malik. and BTJ have better measurables and Jets is a better route runner than Julio ever was.

This thread reversed polarity pretty quickly on the OP.

Correct, not really relevant to the post I was replying to though.

No LSU WR won a super bowl last year, but a Bama QB did.

There were 7 former 'Bama players on the Eagle's SB roster.

LSU

It’s really amazing. For a team that Alabama posters tell us over and over isn’t one of their top 2 rivals, those same Alabama posters start 10 times the threads on LSU than they do Auburn and Tennessee combined.

Reed just scored again

Not sure, check with the LSU fans bragging about NFL stats and let me know.

I'd take Jamarr Chase all day over Julio.

Chase has better ball tracking and is better at contorting or doing whatever you have to do to make the catch., like a good centerfiedler in baseball. Julio was too stiff and had shitty ball tracking.

Julio basically would've been a shitty right fielder who never got good jumps when the ball came off the bat and was always taking goofy angles.

Still a Hall of Famer. But he was no Jamarr Chase.
