I get you don’t like that, but I also am pretty sure you know it’s true.

As Williams got called for three consecutive fouls in the 2nd half, I got the distinct feeling they were make-up calls.

Only one of them was clearly a foul.

And his charge-taking caught up with him on his 5th foul.

It felt like they wanted the game more, but couldn't overcome the poor shooting.

Basically the story of the season.

Poorly coached team with talent.

I agree with this comment for the most part. Wade is a phenomenal recruiter and I don’t think that’s debatable.

However, his in game coaching leaves a lot to be desired. He is one of youngest coaches in D1 and has time to improve in that aspect.

In terms of talent, I think this is his least talented team since he’s been in Baton Rouge. We don’t have a single player that is a good shooter/consistent offensive threat. We also don’t have one big that can control the paint and bang with the better bigs in the league.

I’m hoping that changes next year with our 2 5 star bigs coming in and us getting Miller back from injury.

I just watched the last few minutes of the game. LSU ran zero offense whoever brought the ball down just kept it and drove. What’s funny is the player scored both times.

No clue is that’s what they do all the time on offense but if it is, does not seem it would be successful the majority of the time.

I guess what it boils down to is Auburn fans don’t spam the board as much. Even clenching part of the SEC yesterday, Auburn really didn’t mention it too much.

I don’t really agree with that, but I guess they are arguable. But my main point is the time the bad charge calls took Eason and Pinson off the court. Look, LSU can look in the mirror and find plenty reasons why they couldn’t pull it out. The stupid, frustration fouls being the main one. It’s been a major problem all year.

He completely affected your leading scorer, basically taking him out of the game, and Arkansas and Musselman had no answer for it. How else would you describe it?

Bad game. Notae is streaky.

I also suspect that Muss didn't want Notae trying to do it all himself, because Notae loves a good challenge and would have taken 30 shots if it were up to you him. Thing is that Notae may have hit 20/30 or he may have only hit 10/30, but he definitely would have proven that he could still score on demand.

I knew it was over for LSU toward the end of the game when the LSU players would look over toward Will Wade for instructions. He is a dumbass, why would anyone listen to him.

We lost our best guard Adam Miller before the season started to injury. Then we lost Xavier Pinson, our next best guard to injury for several games mid-season, and even upon his return, he's clearly not himself still (MCL sprain I believe). Those are the team's top 2 ball handlers by far, and the only 2 Wade really trusted with the ball in their hands for extended periods of time. Miller was supposed to be the big time scoring guard as well, as the offense has struggled this year.

So the team has got snakebit by injuries a bit this year. We've had to play a significant part of the schedule with only 3 scholarship guards, 1 of which we had to pull a redshirt off of when we got down to 2 guards available at one point.

In terms Arkansas fans might understand, imagine losing JD Notae before this season started, then Davonte Davis missed or was injured for at least half your SEC schedule on top of that. Basically, enter Chris Lykes having to play 30+ minutes on a regular basis running your point.

You can win doing that but sooner or later it will bite you in the arse.

Wade needs to have his "Bear Bryant starts using the wishbone" moment as a head coach. He needs to change what he is doing for the better.

He needs to start developing discipline with his squad. I'm not saying turn them into a Princeton like team of robots running the pick and roll but a little discipline and smarter play would go a long way.

LSU is in danger of what happened to Arkansas football during the Houston Nutt years. Yeah, we won quite a few games and were ranked a number of times but when you look back at the talent we had Arkansas could have easily won a lot more.

I am not saying Will Wade is a steaming pile of poop. I'm saying if he tweaked a few things LSU could be an Elite 8/Final 4 type team and that is nothing to sneer at. The talent is there, he just needs to get them all pulling in the same direction.

That is true. The defense is good but fouls way too much. Too much reaching and grabbing. If they play more defense with their feet and quit the silly fouls they would be a force.

tPear has things he needs to work on but the guy isn’t even 40 and has done a nice job at lsu. Amazing how difficult that is for the rant to comprehend but always blurred lines between people trolling or legitimate terrible takes on everything
