LSU finished the season with 55 scholarship players starting with the Bama game. By the time they played Ole Miss, they had 50 scholarship players (injuries from Florida game). Of those 55, 35 were FR or SOPH.

The star rankings are top 6, but opt outs, transfers who did not mesh with Bo, etc,

I didn't say Pelini wasnt a problem. He just wasn't the total problem. You better get tougher up front and quit getting pushed around like your DL is on roller skates. Quit telling us you have the best CB in college football when all the rest of us are sure he's the embodiment of Primetime when it comes to his zest for contact. And one of your other CBs 40 times must rival mine the way he gets smoked off the line. One of your LBers had a better reverse gear than a French tank. But, according to the Swamptard brigade, it was all Pelini.
