LSU played cover 2 the entire second half and had 2nd and 3rd teamers in on defense.

LSU could have surpassed 500 if Les didn't sprout a pussy in the 2nd quarter.

Pretty accurate, add the 4th quarter to this as well when we had a whopping 50ish yards total

60 rushing yards on colorado state? This once again proves bama's online is a complete joke

Yes, that is totally relevant to what I posted. We had a terrible game today, and I'm not making excuses for the results. Then again, I guess we must have "let our foot off the gas" when we got the 17 point lead.

It's retarded to let off the gas after 21-0 in the first half

Yes we know, that's why we were all pissed last night about it. We went into run run run punt mode or run run pass punt mode. Everything was completely predictable.

I was proud of LSU. They pounded the living shite out of Auburn, then They took their foot off the gas. But give Auburn credit. They showed why the rest of the league should come to expect some defeats at their hands in the future. Gus is tricky, they have good young talent, and they can make the big play. They look well-coached. The A&M game should be fun. Auburn, if I'm guessing , will shock somebody sooner rather than later. That said, they will also take their lumps.

So what's our dumbass coaches record vs your genius coach?

First off, congrats on the solid head-to-head record. I'll be sure to give a shite about that when we stop winning 3 out of every 4 national championships.

Second, my point is that either your coach was being an actual dumbass or that this letting the foot off the gas in the 1st half is just a fricking excuse for a shite game. Great teams have shite games, ya know. It DOES happen...

There is no way this D can stop UGA. The only way we win is a 49-45 game.

Well actually no that's not the only way we can win, but any way we can win I'll take it. We have Zach Mettenberger and they don't. I like our chances.

Agree. AU gave LSU a couple of gifts early. LSU took advantage of them, got a lead and did not play with the same urgency as the game went on.

Still, AU does not gift wrap the 14 point lead, the game might have been competitive.

I think the final score was pretty indicative of the difference between the teams. LSU is about 14 points better than us in TS. But we are a lot different team than last year and we are not that far from putting the pieces together and being a good team. It's coming.

Gift wrap 14 points

Your punter dropped the ball, 7 points.

Jeremy Hill did the rest during a 21-0 first half. How did you gift wrap 14 points?

Did you read the OP?

I find it interesting that the 2 teams finished with almost identical yardage. Everyone else starting derping about moral victories and such.

Also, allow me to quote LSU's Jeremy Hill:

"I don't think we let up. I think those guys just adjusted," Hill said of Auburn. "That's what SEC teams do."

2nd half is part of the game too. Did someone force LSU to play conservative? Laying back could have cost LSU dearly. IF we make the onside kick and get a score all of a sudden we are within real striking distance with LSU having no momentum and an empty stadium. College teams that lose ol' Mo in a game have a hard time getting it back.
Thing that should stand out to everyone is LSU scored at will. Not a flame , just stating what was obvious .

Does anyone have the yardage breakdown per quarter? I suspect a large chunk of Auburns yards came in the 4th quarter.

Gotta give it to them, though, they never gave up.

never letting the opposing team pull within 14 gets you better than a D.
