Obviously, LSU will take a step back next season, I'm expecting 3 losses but I dont get this thought that LSU will forever be losing 3 games a season just because Burrow and Brady are gone.

Obviously I'll get a good bit of trolling in here but give me one good reason why LSU cant compete in the West year in and year out?

No reason in particular. But the unknown is if a rookie coach like orgeron can handle massive coaching turnover for the first time in his career.

LSU will be fine. Who knows what their record will be. The SEC is tough. Bama went 10-2 with Saban, Tua, those WRs, etc.

Where was Lsu finishing in the west the previous 5 years or so before Brady and Burrow? There's your answer...

Say what you want about Coach O, but besides Canada(who was pushed on him) his coaching hires have been really good.
I have faith that between Coach O & Woodward, LSU will make the right choices.

OBJ?

Seriously though LSU has historically been in the hunt for a while (minus a few seasons). Coach O will recruit the players and rebuild. Everyone wants to compare LSU to Bama and Clemson but they all have gotten to where we are today on different roads. Give coach O time and a good pool for assistant coaches and y’all will be back a lot sooner than later. The foundation has been built and proven... time to restock and reload.

The last time LSU won a NC they would have sustained if not for losing Ryan Perrilloux, which started a total QB nosedive. They also had a buffoon as coach. This recovery will be similar to 2003 where we dropped to 9-3 the following year, but then rebounded over the next 3 seasons, culminating in another NC

15-0 baby!!! We’ll be the first SEC team to win 31 in a row counting UCF. That will just kill other SEC teams fans. It’s bad enough we are the first and possibly only SEC team to win 15 in a season. Even if somebody matches it someday, we’ll still be the first one to do it. It may even put ole Jimbo on the hot seat lol!!

I repeat, where did they finish in that timeframe? It's a simple question.

When you have a question that is relevant about the topic then we can discuss.

I gave you a direct and reasonable response in my first post. It's your problem if you disagree with it.

If "or so" includes 8 years, LSU was winning the West and the entire SEC. And 4 years before...and 4 years before that...and now again.
