There is nothing immoral about paying a college player or his family if the market so dictates. I have had this stance well before Wade was the coach at LSU.

This is EXACTLY what I'm talking about. You don't listen, you can't conceive of things beyond your narrow purview, and you lash out at anything that offends your world view. Ignorance is bliss.
Whether you know it or not-there is a MARKET PLACE for elite talent. Agents, Coaches, bag men, handlers, family members and others involved know who is being shopped and what is being asked. It could be a three year plan, a one-time-payment, housing, cars, employment etc. Sometimes these people say things to their co-workers,close friends, family members etc. Just because I gave you the name of a guy on your team, and that causes you to melt uncontrollably, doesn't change a thing.
Player Procurement at the elite level is an INDUSTRY.
And every single elite school is compromised.
Some more than others.

I have no problem with players getting paid. It might be against the rules, as Bama and Saban know well, but it's not wrong. NCCA, SEC, schools, and coaches make millions...100's of millions of dollars and naive fans think that players shouldn't get a piece?
I'm embarrassed by the language Wade used a lot more that an alleged plan to pay a kid.
