Is he elite? He has a pretty pedestrian winning %, from what I can find it wouldn't place him in the top 79. He is arguably an elite offensive coordinator but he ain't a coordinator any more....the jury is way out on his being an elite head coach. He is certainly a good head coach, way better than average, but he is a long way from being elite enough as a head coach to be an a-hole and not be called out for being an a-hole. Win a conference title or 2, toss in a natty and maybe revisit but he ain't there just yet....
