Our pitching has been struggling for weeks. It was bound to bite us in the arse.

LSU fans keep talking about the pitching.

what about the fact you scored 11 runs, for the entire series, when Auburn's staff is tied for 12th in the SEC, in team ERA, at 6.18 a game?

We also stranded 14 runners in Game 2 alone. We were getting on base, just not bringing enough of them home. shite happens. There's more than enough evidence that LSU can score runs this year. There's also more than enough evidence that there is a huge drop off on the mound after Skenes. As you said, this was the first time you've watched LSU this season. We've watched every game.

........and that will send you home.

That is my point.

I have been listening to LSU fans crow all season long. I was unimpressed with what I saw. Your team has a lot of flaws.

It’s not the end of the world. We get a wake up call and drop to 2nd in all polls in early MAY. Big deal. Every baseball team in history has had off games. If State takes two from us, I will be worried.

We have flaws, but the pitchers that aren’t sitting on the bench with an arm in a sling, have all shown they can get it done at times. Zero consistency. Here’s to hoping they can get it together.

Well you’re welcome to look up our offensive numbers on the year rather than a one weekend sample size when we played our worst series of the season. This team does have flaws. Scoring runs isn’t one of them.

Auburn absolutely did not earn the win on Sunday. LSU shite the bed. Frankly, not impressed with Auburn.

Without the first inning meltdown they still beat us 6-2…idk what you are talking about. Saturday was the meltdown that cost us the game.

so LSU used to be good?

that's like USC/Nebraska talking about all of their NC's in football. You are living in the past

I had always thought you were a pretty good poster. Why are you acting so stupid? LSU just lost its first series of the season and dropped all the way to second. In your opinion that qualifies as "used to be good?"

LSU last won a title in 2009,their 6th,which I believe is the number of Auburn's total Omaha trips.

Odd posts, but you keep saying the same thing. So since LSU lost to Auburn, LSU isn't very good?

Clown.

The "arse kicking" has been very enlightening for me and helped me gain needed perspective. Seeing the official Auburn baseball social media sites declaring a regular season series win over LSU as a "signature series" made me appreciate the legacy we have here. Auburn considers winning a conference series at home a great accomplishment where as LSU fans consider not winning another Championship in Omaha a bad season. So, thank you Auburn for the reality check. I can't wait to see the t-shirts and wall sign commemorating the event.

Teams have slumps.

Our hitting has been carrying the team for weeks and if we don’t walk all those dudes in G2, we win 2/3.

what did you do last year?

I'm not sure. I do know you lost the Auburn series. I know you didn't make it to Omaha. I have no idea when you got knocked out.

Well since we’ve established that we’re ok with living in the past then what have you done the six times you’ve made it to Omaha? I can tell you that we’ve won it six times and you haven’t. You bragging about making it to Omaha last year doesn’t get under LSU fans skin when you consider that fact.

so you won it last year?

........or when was the last time you won it?

..........hell, when was the last time you even went?

ETA the point is.......little old no tradition Auburn has had a better run than LSU for the last several years. That has to be embarrassing for a tradition rich program like LSU.

No we didn’t win it last year and neither did you so I’m not impressed. How about you start a thread shite talking Bama football and Kentucky basketball while you’re at it (I would join in on the fun if you did).

I am pointing out the lunacy of you and your ilk. You are boasting about shite that has nothing to do with this program now. This program now has accomplished less than Auburn's program right now.

And you are boasting about shite that we’ve accomplished many more times than you AND had better results so it’s not really boasting.
