Jamarcus Russell. Mobile used to be a pipeline. Not anymore!

It was a temporarily blocked pipeline for Alabama. You can pretty much find a plethora of Mobile prospects on any great Alabama team.

I am a stickler for the underrated leaving the state. We've see too many go elsewhere and make it big.

seems like when LSU goes out of state for the most part they go to east Texas and Mississippi. When Bama goes they hit the Florida pan handle and Georgia. Real recognize real. Its a bitch to pull a prospect out of either. Even harder for LSU to go into Alabama since we'd have to win over Alabama AND Auburn.

man after the Lee/Jefferson fiasco I'm at the point where Les should take 10 QBs on the roster. Then at least ONE is bound to pan out. Next year we'll have:

Mettenberger
Rivers
Bolden
Randall
Rettig
Jennings

Randall might change positions. He signed knowing it was a possibility. He can be the next trindon Holliday at DE.

I must say ranters(LSU) you take an obvious troll thread and turn it into a legit convo about football. So proud right now.

Seriously? You hope a 18 year kid doesn't get to the NFL?

Of course. Why would I want a Bama player to be successful?

What is the hard on with Sam Gibson? He will be a very good football player when it is all said and done.

Josh Williford turned out to be pretty good for them. He would be a nice OG in 2013 for us. Kids fall "through the cracks" and get away from the in-state program every year.

Especially ones with girlfriends who go out of state

BAMA could have a Marshall-esque plane crash and the bammers would rationalize about how the non-travel scout team is better. "Saban was fixin to bench all 22 starters! " Then it would be announced that the Green Bay packers have verbally committed to play for BAMA. Then, after the packers decommit, we would hear about how "Saban didn't want them, no ways! They visited tuscaloosa and saw all the scout team talent and knew they would never start! RTR!"
Wow bro, you sure are mad. Did 1-9 injure your psyche that much?

Bama's #1 RB

If things fall through, he could still transfer over here; we probably could use a decent #5 RB.

NEVER turn down extra depth.

I am one who actually hated losing KA to LSU. His whole Bama recruitment was retarded.

I also think that Bama mishandled the KA recruitment. Sometimes you can't just go solely by measurables, (KA lite for a LB), I think that kid will be a phenomenal player. He and Beniquez Brown are Alabama kids I think Bama will regret not signing.

We lost Chad "Donkey Lips" Lindsey to Bama, and while his sister was a student at LSU.

How is he doing btw?

For LSU, being the starter doesn't mean much at RB. So who knows.

Being the "starter" is over-rated IMO. As long as you are in the rotation, do your job and are productive I couldn't care less when your arse gets on the field or the number of plays you get.

I think a read where Lacy averages 6-7 ypc - that's good enough for me any day of the week.
