Most confident I have been since our last w. One thing alabama fans seem to forget is we dominated in the 2000s and even had a streak of 5-6 in a row at some point. Why no mention ever? Honest opinion of alabama is they are very good. Better than we have seen all year most likely. Auburn's defensive line was huge so I think that was our biggest test. Dont see multiple first rounders quite yet on Alabama's dl. I am worried about their 4 receivers. All track speed with nfl route running. Playing in Bryant denny isn't the worst case scenario though cause our players will be ready for this one.

Two good teams one with a great coach and the other who is just a manager... never heard of any adjustments or xs os catered to a specific opponent that O came up with. We have great coordinators who make the x’s and o’s. Coach o is a great motivator and manager. But not a great coach. I do not have faith he could have replicated his success as head coach here at a lesser program. Saban could improve any team anywhere any time. Be realistic about your expectations. If he’s such a great coach why was he on the hot season during the offseason?

I’m an LSU alumni but I’m simply expressing how I view it. I would love for Orgeron to coach at LSU as long as he wants... but to compare him to Saban is just... not a fair comparison

The delusional sector of the fan base says this every year. And when we lose they jump ship and start calling for the heads running the program

I will approach it like any other game. I will pull for LSU to win.

Will you cry when you lose? Will you make excuses?

You don’t have good reading comprehension skills. There is nothing wildly delusional in my post. I haven’t expected a win in this series for years. The talent disparity and our one dimensional offense have dead giveaways.
I frankly don’t see the talent disparity this year. We sure as hell aren’t one dimensional. I expect a close game. Bama is not invincible. They have had better teams that lost to lesser teams than we are fielding this year.
Will it happen? I don’t know but it is a possibility.
I won’t be calling for heads if we lose. We’re on the right path.

Not to mention if it’s a close game no matter how good or offense has been playing I have way more faith in Saban and his staff to make adjustments then a non x’s and o’s Coach like Orgeron

Saban has a largely new coaching staff this year. If you don’t think Orgeron understands x’s and o’s then you’re just ignorant. Do you not think Dabo knows x’s and o’s? He was never a coordinator. It’s not just a 28 year old. He’s paired with a lifelong offensive coach in Ensminger. Both staffs will make adjustments.
If you’re so damned sure it’s a loss STFU and don’t watch. Put on an Alabama flag on your car.

You said the past 8 years have no effect on this game. That’s just inaccurate... you think we just play bad against Alabama every year? No they kick our arse and as Joel Embiid would say occupy real estate in our heads. I was at the home game against Bama last year. First time Alabama scores the stadium was quiet the rest of the game. Never been to a game where the fans were that lifeless. 3/4ths of our roster has played them at least once if not more. I assure you they don’t forget those but kickings

I’m with you except for the defense comment. Florida gave up 269 yards and 13 points to Auburn. LSU gave up 287 yards and 23 points to the same team. We saw firsthand what a great offense like LSU’s did to our supposedly great defense. Don’t be shocked if your defense gets run over by Bama like your offense did to us. Great offenses have a way of making a mockery of defenses at times. I have LSU in a tight one 38-35. Burrow is going to do something magical at the end.

So basically the EXACT SAME AMOUNT when you take away the muffed punt by Stingley that likely won’t happen again.

Not super confident, but optimistic because we have a functional offense and I think our secondary is better. It’s all going to come down to who can get the most stops on defense...and LSU will have to deal with the ref bias, like every year we play y’all close.

Are y’all going to allow yourselves to get super confident?
Negative. But I think this team is equipped to give you a game.

Bama folks OTOH do seem "super confident", which, considering the recent record combined with expectations of REC aid, I can understand.

Hopefully Tua is 100%.

Bama has brain farts and some mental letdowns against every other opponent. They play like All-Pros against LSU. There annual ability to focus all game against us let's me know the manlet fears losing to us most of all.

We are coming, and we are skrong.

Let the other gumps know at the next meeting to keep their balls in their pants, don't kill their relatives, don't burn down the trailer, and don't break the 38" flat screen.

Let's be careful out there.

I think you are looking at this all wrong. The reason Alabama looks better against lsu than all other opponents is because lsu sucks arse really hard.
