LINK
Is this the single dumbest post on the SECr? Why would someone “go find it on ESPN” when they could just click your dumb link? Use your brain lefty
Some people may not feel comfortable to click on a link. So, I tell them where to go to check out the article if they want to avoid clinking on this link and prefer to go to the site directly.

Why would Mizzou care? It’s not like they’re relevant when it comes to college football.

All I was pointing out is LSU fans and now some SEC fans were saying Riley ran away from competition. This isn't true. Rile did start recruiting California HS players. How many did Riley recruited Louisiana HS players? Then He mention education is important to him. Where is LSU ranked in education? Some of you didn't even try to connect the dots what Riley been doing all this time and wanted what was best for him and his family. Not what is best for LSU. Brian Kelly is actually the right choice since Kelly mention to get LSU to put more money into improving education. That is a great idea. Kelly should have been LSU number 1 target and not Riley. Doesn't matter now Kelly still was hired. Some of you people think people should make the jump to a specific school because what you see is one of the best football programs. Some HC never made a jump like Iowa State HC. Same for Cincy HC.

Amen. And LSU’s new skipper ran to the sound of the cannons. I’ll take a scrapper over a runner any day.

Oh, you knew for a fact it was true that he ran from the SEC and mad this statement. Show me where it was true?
Wow! I am really wonder if any HC have any freedom to make their own decision based on what is best for him and his family. Not what is best for LSU and be forced to man up and take the job that he has no interest on taking the LSU HC job. Great logic by LSU fans!

Apparently education isn’t important to you either. That monstrosity of shite grammar made that a pain in the arse to read

It seems he is quite full of it. Hell so the same thing at USC that he did at OU.
He will go 12-1 every year, win 3/4 PAC titles, and get boat races in the first round of the CFP.

Who the hell cares????
Fact is, the loser crawled off over to USC. Why? He knows the competition is about equal to the Big 12 so getting conference titles wont be a huge challenge and getting CFP bids is much more likely.
LSU wanted him OVER Kelly. No doubt about it. But again, who cares about this now? I am with LSU fans.....Kelly will likely be the better coach, especially in the SEC.
So USC wins. LSU wins. Now shut the hell up.

A late old friend was said to us, “I used to say I doubt everything salesman, politician, coaches and preachers say…then I realized they are all just salesman so now I just say I don’t trust salesman.”

He knows as a Mizzu fan that his past, present and future are all the same.

And it still took a coach from New Orleans to win all those NC in baseball.

He absolutely had the freedom to do what was best for him and his family. Nor should he have felt pressured or compelled to take the LSU gig.
My point was simpler than your response seems to imply.
To clarify, it seems to me his aversion to the SEC and competing in it was evident from the time Oklahoma became a potential new member of the conference.
Being throttled in 2019 by the Tigers solidified and gave flesh and bones to Riley’s understanding of what competing weekly in the SEC would entail.
That understanding is what drove him to leave Oklahoma. Where he landed is immaterial. It’s his leaving that resonates-not his final choice of the jobs then available to him. It was certain NOT to be an SEC school. A good coach knows his limitations.
Kelly relishes the fight to the death that the SEC, and the SEC West in particular, affords him.
That was my point, but it’s just one man’s opinion.
