You think he's actually going to tell the truth that he wanted not only no part of the SEC gauntlet, but the SEC West compared to the PAC having only to deal with Utah and Oregon? Bless your heart...

Read the article closely. Riley did not say, that he didn’t entertain offers from LSU, he didn’t say he didn’t call them. He said he didn’t “take” any calls from anyone. He said his agent fielded all his calls, who then passed the info to Riley. I don’t think LR is that good of a coach anyway. He was literally handed the keys to a elite program already in place, by Stoops. Staying with OU has no upside for Riley. He has gotten wiped in the CFPs. OU won’t be competing in the powder puff league anymore. A couple of annual SEC losses and the Blow U fans would have been calling for his head. So he took a big money opportunity to continue to be a big dog in a weak league. Riley took the opportunity to guarantee a huge pot of money for his fsmiky.

That aside, USC is one of the 4 or 5 best programs in the nation.

it’s Riley, Jeeze it’s no big secret now. An alleged Oklahoma insider came on CC board Monday said congrats it’s over and Riley told them he was going to LSU on Monday. he said there would be a private flight on Wednesday with his agent that would confirm all this. Yesterday he came back gave tail number and flight aware info that showed a plane flew from OB to Oklahoma City on Sunday then back to OB after dropping off someone in Baton Rouge yesterday.
It’s over, papers are signed he is recruiting for LSU. Bet big on Oklahoma State

Given the choice of LA or Baton Rouge I'm taking LA.
USC offered more money, and an easier path to the playoff where he can continue to get his breaks beat off.
I'm glad Riley went to USC he only knows offense and they dosen't play in the SEC
